Summary
Lack of heating and tissues in the room was pretty poor, and there was nothing above average to make up for it or really recommend it. OK price but still way too expensive as always in London.
Summary
I needed a quiet place to stay the night before a job interview. Perfect for what I needed. The room was a little cramped, as was the bathroom (couldn't close the bathroom door when using the loo!) but otherwise everything was clean and tidy. The staff were helpful, and breakfast was great (self-service continental). Would recommend.
Summary
I found this hotel to be exactly as described on the laterooms website. The room was clean and smelt fresh when we arrived. We arrived in London in the early morning and the hotel has a locked luggage room which we were able to use allowing us freedom to go and explore the city before our room was ready. The cooked breakfast was good and fast at arriving. I would use this hotel again as I liked its quiet location and proximity to rail and bus stations.
Summary
The room was tiny and I could barely move around in it. I only planned to sleep in it so I was prepared to put up with that. The wooden sash windows rattled all night long and the traffic noise throughout the night was simply none stop. Neither I, nor my colleague in another room managed to sleep at all and got up shattered in the morning.

Summary
Clean quiet room convenient for my meeting in Westminster.
Summary
Reasonable Room but breakfast was not good.
Summary
Great location, simple, well appointed room.
Summary
Clean and comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price, pity bar and restaurant not open as I had to down the road to the nearest pub and got soaked.
Cooked breakfast was pre prepared and warmed up (not good) would go for continental option in future.
I stayed in London for a birthday trip with my mum mid week and decided to stay at the Days Inn as it was pretty cheap for a twin room compared to some that I looked at. The hotel was easy to find on the main road from Victoria Station and about a 5 - 10 minute walk from Pimlico. It was in a lovely building, one of the big cream buildings, several storeys tall. The reception area was nice and welcoming and the receptionist very friendly. We checked in mid afternoon and had a room on the ground floor at the back of the building. The room was basic but clean and tidy and lovely and warm. We weren't in the room very long as we went to see a show and didn't get back until 11pm but the room was comfortable and great value for money - no point spending loads of money just to sleep in a room! Was a nice safe area as well to walk back from the tube late at night so will be using again.
Summary
Basic but adequate accomodation, especially for a brief overnight stay. Would be less happy to stay there for an extended period of time.
Summary
It was more of a bed and breakfast, plus there were no toothbrushes. Window open using a toilet roll which was so funny.
Brilliant weekend in London. Hotels' within reach of public transport. Quiet and Clean to expectations. Helpful staff. I will definitely come back or reccomend this hotel to friends.
Summary
I was pleasantly surprised for the price, room was pretty basic but clean and modern and comfortable. Good location, close to tube stations and lots of places to eat and drink nearby and Tesco Metro. Excellent value for money.
Summary
The room that we were given was unsatisfactory. There were massive iron burns on the carpet, the only window of the room had a brick wall built around it and felt very enclosed. The room was also very hot and stuffy. The bathroom was extremely small, you could just about turn around in it and there were cracks in some of the tiles on the floor. The staff member that we checked in with on arrival was not very welcoming towards us.
Thankfully we only stayed for one night in this hotel as I don't think I could have stayed for very much longer. On the plus side, the location is great which is why I suspect it costs so much for such a poor room, and the cleanliness of the room was fine, it's just a shame the rest of the room let it down. I definitely shall not be staying here again in the future.
Compact. clean, staff were lovely, Rooms was very small and all basic needs were address.
TV was very small and high on the wall, no music channel which i really missed.
Couldn't fault it for the money!
Hotel is well situated for visiting London.
Check in was easy, staff were polite. The room was clean and comfortable and served our needs well.
Cooked breakfast option was very good.
Rooms are tired but everything works;hair dryer replaced when it didn't Continental breakfast good value..Pleasant helpful staff(none British).Quiet rooms at the back.Good variety of restaurants nearby and excellent bus services to all the main museums.
Summary
I stayed two nights in a comfortable room with good internet. The bathroom was clean and functional. I have stayed before and I find the staff on reception to be friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, on the second night of my stay, some fool started smoking in his/her room at 03:00 and set off the fire alarms in every room in the hotel. I could not sleep afterwards from the fright of the alarm going off in my room. There was no call from the staff to say it was a false alarm. I was dressed and ready to run down the fire escape when it occured to me to ring the reception and check. "just someone smoking" I was told. The minimum service I would have expected was a call to say that it was a false alarm. To make things worse the same fool lit up again about half an hour later with the same result. Still no call from reception. So although I enjoy staying at this hotel normally I was pretty unimpressed by the reaction to the situation. Perhaps they could be a bit more proactive next time to reassure clients? Perhaps they could put a note in rooms saying that smoking sets off the fire alarms in every room in the hotel and that smokers will be asked to vacate their rooms immediately if they set off the alarms? Anyway I would recommend the hotel as good value and comfortable but please dont smoke in the rooms...
Summary
The room was small and nothing special, however it was clean, which is why we chose the Days Inn (a chain) as opposed to one of the other owner/operator run hotels which we haven't had great luck with. Considering we booked the night before, it was okay. I would have expected at least free in-room Wi-Fi considering the price paid though. Asking for another 5 GBP per day for Wi-fi after charging 100 GBP per night for a box room seemed like a bit of a slap in the face.
Summary
Very pleased very relaxing room. excellent value for money. very quiet. bed very comfortable.
Summary
Well worth the money i paid, clean and tidy and exactly as detailed.
Summary
Shabby. And definitely not chic.
Summary
Clean and comfortable, though te room was rather hot. Breakfast excellent
Summary
This is an adequate hotel but where it wins out is the staff are friendly and helpful, it is in a great location for the London attractions but it is also in a quiet area of London meaning a good night's sleep. If booked in advance this is 50% cheaper than its sister hotel in Lambeth - where the rooms and decor are much nicer but the street noise is incredible - all through the night - and it's nowhere near city centre London.
Summary
The service we received was excellent. we arrived from cornwall on the overnight sleeper and arrived very early at the hotel. the receptionist was very accomodating in allowing us to register early and get some much needed rest.
the room was on the ground floor which we were quite happy to accept and it was only when we were woken very early on the Sunday morning by staff talking loudly in the kitchen next to us that we felt rather annoyed. we also had to pull the curtain across to stop the staff having a smoke outside on the staircase to see into our room. As we were only there for the one night we did not make an issue about it.
Very pleasant, good quality accommodation and top value for money. Would love to revisit - especially at that low price we were lucky enough to secure. Just didn;t have time for breakfast as we neede an early start for the Veteran Car Rally starting in Hyde Park, a shortish bus ride away from nearby Victoria Station. Very convenient for travellers.
Summary
Room was pokey, a single room with a double bed. No tissues in bathroom-" hotel doesn`t have tissues." Floor tiles cracked and with missing grout, underside of toilet seat peeling and shower screen off its lower runners. Door onto balcony has poor catch and opens out onto string of other balconies. Bar closed for refurbishment but no sign of this being done. Taxi ordered that never came.
Summary
Clean room, hot powerful shower, comfy bed, affordable and in a great location! Perfect for a weekend away in London!
Summary
I read previous reviews commenting that the rooms were small and the place was tired. We had a nice room, small, but cozy. We could walk all around the bed comfortably. (Small by American standards, but much better than the bed and breakfast where we stayed in London last year.) The room had a desk, chair, and table. The bathroom was very nice, obviously renovated recently. We had a ground floor room with a big window on the street. The view was great. I need to remember to forget the view and ask for a room in the back where we cannot hear street noise. The friendly desk clerk recommended restaurants and pubs a block away. We ate at the pub, The Constitution. The food was great. There was also what we would call a party store nearby.
We enjoyed the hotel. We took a cab to Victoria Station. It was too far to walk.
Very pleased with our room but smaller than the room i stayed in on my last visit, pity there isnt more outside ashtrays to keep your front a lot cleaner
Summary
Good for a short break. Good location
Summary
Room was small to medium size. Decent bathroom, effective shower, comfortable bed, kettle, iron + ironing board provided. Bedroom was well decorated. Some noise from nearby rooms - but didn't disturb my sleep. Common areas of the hotel are tired. Good value overall.
Summary
Hotel staff friendly, had much nicer room last visit, this one was tired looking.
Summary
I stayed 2 nights and thought that it was very good value. The breakfast was poor quality, but service was good and all the staff from reception to waiters and porters were kind and helpful. The hotel is generally tired - was expecting a difficult nights sleep but it was quiet and peaceful - for London :-). It is well placed for stations and taxis. There are some excellent mid priced restaurants around (change from £20 in most of them)
Summary
I came to London for the wedding of a young relative.I had stayed at a Days inn beforeand and thought it good value for money.I needed taxis on several occasions and found the staff helpful. The hotel was a useful base for my weekend.
Summary
Generally ok for a business stay. Other than accommodation the hotel has no other facilities and because of this I felt that the rate was a little high.
Summary
The first room I was put in was in the basement, the corridor outside the bedroom door was stacked with clean laundry partly blocking the fire exit and the smell of chip fat from the restaurant was rancid. The room itself was ok but I couldnt open the window as it opened onto the fire escape stair that led to the street so anyone could have easily climbed in. I requested another room and got put on the first floor, the room was adequate for a nights stay but I really didnt need the double and 2 single beds! The bathroom was very small but had a good shower. Was slightly concerned as the plug of the iron was making a crackling noise when it was plugged in, I checked for any safety sticker but there wasnt one - lets just say I removed the plug with caution!! The bedroom was clean and bed comfortable plus the location was good for me to go to the evening event I was attending and then to my office next morning, overall it was an ok hotel but wouldnt pick to stay there again.
Summary
Ok value and location for a fast visit to London
