Enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff on reception were excellent. The room although basic, had everything you would need for a short stay. Even free wifi in the room( brilliant idea) .
Remember that you are close to a busy road junction and police station, so there can be a bit of noise. If you are a light sleeper then use earplugs and it won't be a problem for you. Let's face it, you are in London so there will be a certain level of noise but nothing that can't be sorted.
The hotel is literally a 3 min walk to Lambeth North on the Bakerloo line and only 4 stops from Piccadilly Square. So from the hotel to central London it's about 15 - 20 minutes max.
The hotel has car parking and you can not book a space which is a bit of a downside to your stay. It's done on a first come first serve basis. Which might be a problem if you need a definite space. However the girls on reception were brilliant and helped me out with this when I said I was on my way.
I would definatly stay here again and have already recommended it to some of my friends who are going to London for a short theatre stay. Well done Days Hotel Waterloo!!!
We came down for a hen weekend, but are not "sleep where we fall" types, so wanted some decent accommodation. The hotel was easy to find, had some really nice staff on reception and was good value at £89 for the Saturday night. The room was very clean although the bathroom could have done with a power shower and a deep clean to get rid of a small amount of mould. Overall the hotel is very good value for money and even had a really nice bartender around to provide tea at 11:00 when we finally retuned from our epic hen night out! ;-)

No frills accommodation, but perfectly adequate

Functional, no frills and what you pay is what you get. No complaints. Nearest tube just 200 yds or so away.

If you are looking for a value for money stay in london this hotel is a very good choice. We stayed there for new years eve and we had a view of the london eye and big ben from the hotel.
With just a short walk we were on westminster bridge watching the celerbrations thanks for a great stay.
The rooms was clean and comfortable and it wasn't until the following morning we discovered the shower in one of the rooms only let cold water through. We contacted reception who apologised and did give us another room to shower in. They were unable to fix ours as the maintenance person was off as it was a bank holiday
Summary
Clean, comfortable and more than adequate for a short stay. Central location , pleasant surroundings. Friendly staff and very professional.
Summary
Clean , friendly, simple, good for an overnight stay. 200yds from Lambeth North Tube station. Some late night noise from the adjoining backpackers place, if windows are open.
Summary
Excellent location and value for money for a London hotel.
Summary
The hotel is not in a bad location for tubes and walking to the sights but don't count on getting much sleep - there is a police station in front of the hotel and a hospital behind it!! The hotel room was cramped, hot and basic. To keep cool you either opened the window which didn't help much and just increased the noise of the sirens or you left the fan on but you could still hear the sirens. Wouldn't stay there again and wouldn't recommend it.
Summary
Everything was great except the food was very poor for the price paid. £10 for a cooked breakfast of pretty poor standard. The lady that checked us in was also a little rude when I questioned being given a double after both contacting the hotel about availability of twins, if we could swap the double to a twin and making clear notes of this on my booking through late rooms.
Summary
This is the second time I have stayed at a Days hotel and have always found them good value and clean, but the road noise at night even with window shut very, very noisy.
Summary
The room was clean but small and with no air con, the room was very warm.
Summary
Hotel was situated in just the right spot in London, so was central to all the places we wanted to visit. Staff were polite and helpful. also the room was comfortable and clean. Will definately staying again.
Summary
Hotel did the job but the whole place needs a lick of paint and some time spent on it. It looks scruffy - the rooms look a bit scruffy and the hotel needs a refresh - maybe the staff need a boost, as they looked like they couldn't really be bothered either!
Summary
Clean, tidy, excellent location and good value for money
Summary
We spent one night at the Days Hotel Waterloo and out stay was certainly quite pleasant. The room was clean if not very spacious, and so was the bathroom. My only negative comments are with regards to the television, which did not work properly, and the fact that the room overlooked to a busy main road and was fairly noisy. Nothing a good pair of earplugs can remedy though. The staff were correct although not very organised. They checked that we had paid our bill three times, and would not let us go until they were convinced we did not owe them a penny.
Summary
Efficient and conveniently located. Would have liked a better breakfast and particularly a better quality coffee.
Summary
Found the hotel to be clean and within easy walking distance of Lambeth North and Waterloo stations.
Check in was relatively straight forward and the room was clean and tidy.
Unfortunately the 'double' bed was little bigger than a single and the space either side of it on the headboard indicated a larger bed had been there previously.
The shower was barely lukewarm even on the hottest setting.
The noise whilst not unbearable, wasn't filtered brilliantly by the double glazing.
The worst thing though was the sheet on the bed, which was like sandpaper and woke me up every time i moved.
Overall, not the cheapest hotel and certainly not great value for money
Room was extremely compact, maybe ok for a single buisnessman but too cramped for a couple. Window was tiny, approx 18" x 18" and had to lean over a cupboard to even be able to glance outside. Bed was comfortable but that was probably the best part of the room. I work in London and often stay over when out with friends, often using £50 a night room. This was double the price and really not worth the extra money!!!
Summary
Brilliant location - close to tube station. Had a great night's sleep in a room with all you need.
Summary
We would stay here again but would definitely request a room at the back of the hotel next time. The room we had was on the front the noise from the main road prevented opening the window at night and there is no air conditioning.
Summary
The hotel was clean and provided great access to the centre of London. I took me just 20 minutes to walk to the London eye from the hotel. The nearest tube stop is Lambert North which is only 2 minutes walk away, which can get you to embankment in under 5 minutes. The only slight downside of this hotel is the close proximatey to the police station which meant occasional police sirens through the night. If only the hotel spent a bit more money on sound proofing the windows properly, then I would have said this hotel is excelent for the money, however they haven't so I only rate it average value. The room had a kettle and complimentry coffee (a nice touch) and flat screen tv. There is also a bar downstairs. I didn't try the food but they do have a basic menu. Although I didn't drive there was ample on site parking (at £15 a night) which very good considering the location. In summary a clean, reasonable value (I paid £69 through laterooms) hotel in a good location, but if you are a light sleeper, bring your ear plugs.
Summary
Anyone wanting an inexpensive hotel in the London Eye area will not be disappointed with this hotel . The accomodation was clean and modern and the staff were helpful and friendly .
Summary
Days inn at waterloo was a great experience....check in smooth fast and helpful....
room was great, clean bed very comfortable.....
staff were very helpful allowing mer to check out late and store my bags for a few hours until my train was due. #
next time i'm in london i'll be back to Days inn
The room was small and the towels had marks on but the staff at reception were really helpfull and friendly. Great location!
Summary
We stayed at this hotel because we wanted to be close to the The Swan at the Globe for a party. We managed to get there by taxi. The hotel is convenient for lots of eating houses so we ate out of the hotel. The room was adequate for our purposes but rather small if staying for longer than a weekend. It was in an extremely noisy position and the rooms have inadequate double glazing so we experienced a disturbed night. Otherwise everything was fine in the hotel itself. We didn't eat there because all meals start at 5.30 p.m. We may have eaten there if we could have had a sandwich about 3 p.m. They do provide breakfast at a cost but we were obviously too late for that as we couldn't book in until 2 p.m.
Summary
The room was satisfactory to our needs and the staff very pleasant. I was disappointed in the breakfast, I thought it was expensive for what you got and you also had to make your own toast and coffee.
Summary
I only stayed overnight. The staff were helpful the room and corridors etc were clean. There was complimentary fruit and water in the room which was a nice touch. The room served my purpose perfectly well, I couldn't fault it on anything.
Summary
Reasonable price, good quality and services
Summary
Good hotel room, a little small and quite noisy next to the main road but a good location for the centre of London.
Summary
Good hotel in a central location of London. Room was functional and not too small but clean and tidy. Breakfast was good even if you did not choose the full English. We stayed just one night and for 1/2 nights it's ideal.
Summary
The bed had a broken spring in otherwise my stay here was perfect , within easy walking distance to the London Eye , Parliment square and the War Museam . Food was very good .
Summary
Great place to stay if you need to take your car and do not want to pay a fortune! We chose this hotel for that main reason and also because it was very reasonably priced for London. Although the rooms are very basic they are clean and as we were on the 2nd floor it was surprisingly quiet.Very close to the tube, bus stops & London Eye only 10 min walk away.
Summary
The hotel was nice and clean had everything you need except towels for a shower, also we wasnt told when we book that the road would b closed off at a certain time and our friend had to drive around for ages to look for somewhere to park wish made our night run behind but other than that very nice place to stay.
Summary
Last time we stayed was for a two day break for some theatre and shopping. The hotel is perfect for National Theatre/South Bank as easy to walk. Hotel is better than basic and considering you spend hardly anytime in your hotel room you wont get better value in a more central location. We drove in from M3 south and it was a piece of cake - even easier getting out. Dont bother with the breakfast too expensive and not great. Staff are always friendlly. Enjoyed the Indian Restaurant 1 minutes walk but avoid the pub across the road £8.30 for a large wine and coke!
Summary
Hotel just refurbished, established player and they know how to look after guests all team members switched on. Location is perfect, 2min walk from Lambeth North Tube, well lit street, so at the centre of things for work and quick walk accross one of teh bridges to Houses of Parliment and Big Ben and the regular tourist areas. Good Quality
