Summary
We used the St John’s Wood underground station for access and found that as you exit the station you can see the Hotel at the end of the road, it’s about a ten minute walk .We were stopping for a two night break and found the Hotel service excellent, the room was lovely, and we even managed to have the window open as the area was very quiet by London standards. We found the breakfast (which was not included in our package) well worth the money as the choice was excellent and again the service was just right. At the end of our stay we felt that we had chosen well and would probably return at a later date.
Summary
Room location and staff very good, lobby area and stairways halls etc looking bit dated/drab/tired. Would recommend on balance.
Summary
Excellent location for The Platinum hospital, The Wellington hospitals and The St John and St Elizabeth hospitals
Summary
I really like this hotel and it's a regular stay for me when in London. Excellent rooms, service and very good food. Ideal location for me.
It's good value for a 4* London hotel although the deals are now few and far between.
Will I go again? Yes
No wifi in room as advertised and could not connect to it after I'd asked for it to be 'added to my bill.
Summary
Hotel was quiet when I was there
Pleasant enough, could do with a bit of investment as some areas on the tired side but that wouldn't stop me using it again
The on site car park was great and £24 for a night is the London norm
Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a bit tired and smelt damp, not very good value for money.
Summary
I stayed for only 1 night in early Nov 2011 on a Sat night. I booked a double room via late rooms as the rate was very good for £131, and my stay was excellent!
Check in was very simple, my room was 908 on the 9th floor and the views over regents Park were beautiful on an Autumn's day. The room was of adequate size but the bed was huge and very comfortable with spotless bathrooms. The bar had great Guinness and the buffet breakfast was very reasonable at £10 each. I parked down the road to save the £25 fee. Apart from the grotty looking building I highly recommend the Danubius. Excellent!
We had a nice room overlooking the Park; staff were very kind and thoughtful and the Resatuarant was beautifully shimmering light in New York style. The food was first class both imaginative and well cooked with excellent presentation.
Summary
Disappointing-hotel decor was quite dated, small room. Limited choice of restaurants and bars nearby
Summary
I booked a room through the secret rooms service so did not know until I had booked what we would get. The Hotel and the room were excellent, very clean, comfortable and modern. We had a fantastic view from the 11th floor over Regents Park.
We did not eat in the Hotel Restaurant although it looked very pleasant but found some good restaurants just across the road less than a 5 minutes walk away, the location was brilliant and we spent the Sunday at Camden Market which was a 15 minute walk away. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for city break.

Ran like clockwork, staff very friendly and facilities excellent.
Summary
Very suitable overnight stay for a dinner in London/Lord's. Relaxing once I had solved the puzzle of the plug, and hot water for the bath!
Summary
Happy with this stay. Good value. Liked the 15min free internet per day. Perfect for my requirements.
Summary
Very good hotel, with polite and attentive staff in spite of the hotel being busy. We have stayed in many indifferent hotels in Central London, but this was definitely not one of them. Not much traffic noise, out room was well insulated, and the bed was very comfortable. Certainly very recommendable, and we shall book there again.
The only small negative point is that the hotel entrance is not easily reachable on foot. If you approach from the St. John's Wood direction, you see in bright lights what looks like the main entrance, but isn't, and you have to go round to the back where the car park is in order to reach reception.
A good quality hotel with genuinely attentive staff in a wonderful london location : regents park/ camden/ marylebone etc
Summary
Went to this hotel again as we had been a few times before a couple of years back. The standard of the hotel is excellent and clean and staff happy to help and courteous. We booked a standard room, but on arrival we were told that we had been given a free upgrade - an executive suite room with a massive balcony (top floor). The room was spacious, clean and had everything urd need - clean bathroom and crockery for the tea and coffee making facilities. We ordered room service and it was delivered within 20 minutes hot and massive portions. We would DEFINATELY stay at this hotel again and would highly recommend everything about it.
Ideal location not far from Central London and only a few minute from coming off the M1. Happy to leave car in their car park and use taxis to get about.
Staff could not be more helpful, great value for money. We enjoyed a very pleasant lunch and breakfast. The room was large and well maintained with a good view of Lords.
We were helped with taxi's, umbrella's and found customer service to be very good.
Food was at a reasonable price as well as being really well cooked, the Club Sandwich was just what we needed!
Great location, great hotel!
Summary
We stayed at this hotel when attending the theatre in Regent's Park, as it was ideally situated. The room was very clean and comfortable, the staff friendly and the breakfast was excellent with exceptional service. A perfect choice if requiring this location in London.
Summary
Very good hotel good value
Summary
Nice room, but corridors are crying for refurbishing. Breakfast is ok, but although I had included breakfast I had to clarify that with hotel staff. That was a bit disturbing.
Summary
We had three days in London and wanted a hotel just away from the highest density area, but with good transport links - this hotel gave exactly that. Right next to Regents Park and a 10-15 min walk to Oxford Street, but with tubes within a few minutes it was just what we wanted. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the rooms of a high standard, and of a comfortable size when compared to a typical English hotel. Staff were always polite and ready to help with a high service ethic. We didn't have an evening meal in the hotel, but breakfast and snacks were of a high standard. If we could repeat the deal we got, we will definitely go back.
Summary
Excellent location, close to bus and tube station, easy to get everywhere. Room was great, comfy beds, clean, nice bathroom although was a bit cold - they gave us a heater and it warmed the room up nicely. Staff was very helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel.
Summary
Excellent service that allowed us to book in early and collect luggage after booking out
Summary
No complaints at all. Everything was fab especially the breakfast.
Summary
We booked a standard double for two nights via laterooms, and then discovered at the last minute that we needed a room for the night before. The only room they had was a junior suite at quite a bit extra. We took that, but on check-in asked if we could keep the junior suite for the next two nights at the laterooms.com price - and they agreed! Lovely accommodation, and at quite a reasonable price for London. Only slight problem was that the extractor fan in the toilet/bathroom was not working. We told them about this when leaving. A four minute walk from the nearest tube station made this convenient for central and west London - and for cricket fans it is right next door to Lords. We'd use it again.
Summary
Stayed 2 nights midweek. Felt some of the staff were quite cold (as per typical London, however some were excellent and very friendly) almost to the point of rudeness being a very casually dressed young person going into a high end hotel I didn't feel totally comfortable but the room was fine apart from the hair dryer not working and the concierge was very helpful in holding our bags for us for a period after we checked out.
Safe in the room was a pleasant and very welcome surprise for leaving most things in
I booked this the day before through Laterooms secret rooms page. The bug deal was the low cost, I paid £97 for a double room in a very nice hotel on the edge of Regents Park on a Friday night. The cost for the same room if I'd just walked in off the street was £349!
The hotel is in a great location and is one of those places where you feel comfortable straight away. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. I'm pretty sure I could have asked them to make the sky a slightly different shade of blue and they would have produced a colour chart.
Had I paid the full rate I might have been a little disappointed with the size of the room, but this is a smart hotel in central London. I didn't pay the full rate though, so I was very very happy with the whole thing.
Nearly forgot, there was plenty of onsite parking and you don't have to pay the congestion charge.
Stayed at The Danubius as my husband was working in London and I decided to join him and enjoy a day out. Room was larger than I had expected for a London hotel, clean and comfortable. However I did find on the hotel's own website that rates were less than I had paid using laterooms. Would use this hotel again.
Summary
Don't let appearances put you off. Though the Danubius is a pretty functional looking building and the communal areas are a little tired, the room I stayed in was clean, modern and thoroughly pleasant. Housekeeping brought an iron and ironing board within 15 minutes of my call. Altogether a good experience (at a Laterooms bargain price of £134).
Summary
Would definately recommend this hotel, very clean, good value for money, & excellent location
Summary
Quality of the accommodation was very good. One small gripe was that the double beds were little on small side. Good quality room. Helpful staff. Short stay so have not tested the food. Recommend a stay in the refurbished rooms.
Summary
Tiny room quite noisy, more reasonable accommodation closer to London available. However experienced Camden Market so that was the benefit of this hotel.
Summary
We booked this as a secret hotel and based on others comments. It was a great location (in central London but not too noisy or busy) but only 5 min walk from Baker Street tube station. Fantastic value for money. Very happy with all aspects of our stay. An excellent little hidden jem!
Summary
The clean and modern Danubius overlooks Lord's Cricket Ground, ideal if you're a cricket fan but even if you're not St John's Wood is an excellent location; close enough to the centre of things to be convenient but far enough out for a little bit of peace and quiet. The Staff were very helpful, the rooms are not huge but big enough and the breakfast buffet was all you could want. Parking is a slight problem as the hotel charges are quite high but, again, not as high as you would pay in an outside car park.
Summary
I was only there for 5 hours, but the lady on reception was very friendly and helpful, and the room was fine. Breakfast was OK. Didn't have time to experience much else.
