We chose the Danubius because of its proximity to the city centre and on site parking. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodation, overall cleanliness and location next to Regents Park. Drinks at the bar were overpriced, even when compared to other bars / hotels in the vicinity.

From the outside the Danubius doesn't seem to offer the grandure that you expect but as soon as you enter reception, that all changes. Friendly reception staff and great facilities. Really enjoyed staying there and will be doing so again

Good Value at the Late Rooms 'Room Only' price but less so at the full room rate. Room was 'compact' but acceptable, service very good in the bar but the menu was rather limited and distinctly expensive. Excellent place to have breakfast just outside the hotel in a little Lebanese Restaurant.

Nice clean room, quite a lot of road noise even with double glazed windows shut. Be aware-when buying drinks at the bar, the policy is to serve doubles unless you ask for a single. There is a notice informing you of this policy but it's behind bottles so not easy to see. £16 for 2 G&Ts is a bit steep! There's not much around the area apart from a few dodgy looking bars.

For a four star hotel, this was a bit of a disappointment. Staff on the desk were polite and friendly. The room was also relatively quiet (once I turned the empty fridge off) and the view was great (from the top floor). However the the TV was an old CRT with a poor picture, the floor was a bit mangy and the bed was hard with thin pillows. Having said that, everything else was clean - bed, bathroom etc. The bath was quite small but adequate for my size (five foot ten) and the towels were nice and fluffy. I made one telephone call and the line was poor. Overall, a pretty dated hotel and I would have expected more for a room reduced from £299! I only paid £99 but was still a disappointed with the overall quality and finish. I'd only recommend this hotel if you get a good deal, enjoy sleeping on hard beds/thin pillows and it's convenient location-wise.

Oh Dear! Not good i'm afraid. In an awful location in London as the nearest restaurant is on St John's Wood High Street about half a mile away! The hotel is tired. It needs a refurb. Lovely comfy bed but the room was small and noisy. I was in a crazy room where it was necessary once I got through the door to climb a steep flight of stairs to my bedroom! Got excited about it being one of those suites on 2 floors.......was dismayed to realise it wasn't that at all. Just a bedroom in the attic! I paid £119 for this with no breakfast - it wasn't worth it.There are much better hotels in London for this price.

My stay here was stressful from start to finish. I had serious problems checking in as the hotel refused to accept a payment from my University over the phone. Reception then told me that my University had refused to pay and had hung up, despite them making every effort to pay. I ended up paying so I could get to the conference I was in town for. As it happened, the University had then paid the room and I was told my card would be refunded. I discovered on arriving home they had charged both cards and I am still fighting to get my money back. Staff were rude and unhelpful, and I even witnessed an argument between two members of staff whilst waiting to be seated for breakfast. I could not with a coscience recommend anyone stay here!

A quiet location, but only a 10 minute walk from Baker St tube station. Not worth the £300 a night advertised in their lobby, but fantastic value for money at the secret room price of £89.

very friendly service, arrived early Saturday morning as attending training in London. Staff allowed us to leave luggage behind desk until we were ready to check out. Also when we checked out we left our luggage again until my course ended then picked it up no charge for this. The room was comfortable and clean and the shower was hot. Breakfast was lovely, we had not booked breakfast but when we arrived we were given a voucher which reduced the price of breakfast from £15.00 each to £10.00. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Would stay here again and I'm rather fussy.

My sister and I stayed at this hotel for two nights and were really pleased with the room and location, and was good value at price paid. The only quibble was that the flowers my sons in Australia had ordered for my birthday and which were supposed to have been placed in my room for when we arrived did not eventuate until much later in the day, after my son had rung to complain.

My wife and I stayed at this Hotel for 1 night 24th Sept and found it very conveniently placed for visiting Central London. There are bus stops just outside the hotel into Oxford Street. The Hotel staff were very pleasant and the room was very nice indeed with Air conditioning, flat screen tv and tea and coffee making facilities.
