Very poor value

The room was v cold. We did complain & learnt that there was a fault with the heating. We were given a heater for our room which warmed it up nicely.
Summary
Great value for money, freshly decorated, polite staff. Nothing was too much if anything needed.
Vast breakfast availability that cater for all. Thank you and will be staying again soon.
Ideal location on Shepherd's Bush road. 5-10mins walk from Hammersmith station.
Nice area and quiet despite being on main road. The bed was a bit hard, but everything was nice and clean. Would recommend.
1- uncharming
2- cold
3- without hot water
Not the most inspiring of rooms (decor was pretty basic) but a comfy bed and a decent telly. A bit chilly as the heater wasn't great but overall, for London, not bad.
Summary
I was looking for somewhere within easy reach of Euston to stay whilst down for a football match with 2 friends and this fitted the bill perfectly. Rooms were very clean and the bathroom spotless. There was plenty of hot water for the shower and although breakfast didn't represent the same excellent value as the room, it was still very nice (we had the full English).
Summary
I attended the Dalmacia on my own for the duration of the stay. The owners / staff were very welcoming, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The cleanliness of the hotel was fantastic. It was a room which you got what you paid for but the atmosphere made it worth while! Would recommend it again!
Summary
The hotel is veeery old.The room was kind of ok, but still very small and not clean. The bathroom is like a place for execution.Internet didnt work properly, at least it didnt work in the room only on the stairs.
Summary
I had an excellent lovely room, the shower was wonderfully hot and powerful. The wifi signal unfortunately is poor I could not maintain a connection.
Staff were pleasant and helpful.
The accommodation itssef was 'ok'.
Pros: Seemed to be very clean
not TOO far out.. about 15 minutes from either shepherds bush or hammersmith tubes.
Cons: The shower wouldnt put out cold water so was skin burning warm.. despite telling three different people on three different days nothing was done.
The button on the toilet stuck in as it was in a state of disrepair, a little annoying/embarrassing for guests.
All staff helpful and friendly, room clean and tidy. It is a bit noisy if you have a room at the front of the hotel but it is located on a major thoroughfare so to be expected.
Summary
We were very pleased with the accommodation, which was compact and bijou, but very spruce and extremely handy for Hammersmith. The manager was really friendly and she made an excellent breakfast, and was careful to make sure we thought everything was okay without being imposing. My only quibble was that the safe didn't seem to be working but that could have just been me and I didn't leave enough time to check with the staff. All in all, very good value for money.
Summary
I found this hotel very welcoming and in a great location. It was clean, warm and comfortable with a lovely poweful hot shower. The only negative for me was the road noise with no double glazing to help reduce it. Having said that, I slept like a log and the staff were very helpful. I paid £4 for a continental breakfast which included tea/coffee/juice, toast, cereal, fruit, rolls/croissants and cold meats/cheeses. Would definitely recommmend.
Summary
Dalmacia hotel is genuinely a nice hotel. Friendly staff and well positioned for commuting in and around London. Price are on the slightly-pricier side but you definitely get your moneys worth :)
Summary
Stayed for 3 nights in January, solo traveler so cost savings not as good as duo room occupancy. The hotel is situated about 10-15mins walk from ShepBush station, also close to a Vue Cinema complex near the station, and a Cafe Rouge virtually opposite the hotel, which offers a better breakfast content and ambiance than the hotel, for similar or less cost. Room just ok, slightly grubby in places, with sheets and blankets instead of a duvet, but decent size and a desk (but a stool instead of a chair). Couldn't get WiFi access to work, but improvised with a dongle. Toilet flush malfunctioned on day 2 but was repaired very promptly. Overall, a 2 star type of hotel, ideally suited cost wise for a couple rather than a solo traveler.
Summary
Its about a ten minute walk from the Hammersmith tube station, an excellent location for the piccadilly line and district (main sight seeing locations on these). The receptionist was very friendly, rooms spacious and very clean, will definately use this hotel again in the future.
Summary
Having had some dreadfull experiences with London Hotels in the past, it was a pleasure to find one that ticked all the right box's. Staff were very polite, room was very clean and serviced every day, I was there for 3.
I wanted a change from the usual breakfast and ordered egg on toast which was supplied with copius amonts of coffee. I was also allowed to leave my overnight bag in the office after I had checked out in order to attend the Cenotaph Parade. Do recommend you try this hotel.
The outside of the property looked very shabby and to be honest i was dreading going in! Once in however, it was very pleasent! room nice and clean and couldnt fault the continental breakfast!!
Would advise to tidy up the outside and it would do a cracking trade for the amount of money charged!
My 1 night stay was fine at this hotel. My welcome at reception was very friendly. The room was very clean and cosy. All facilities worked ok.
At £65 for a good single room in London I was very satisfied.
Very pleasant stay. Only comment is regarding full English breakfast.I am vegetarian. I paid the same for a cooked breakfast without meat as those who had a plate with sausage and bacon. Would be nice if a veggy option were available. If not then perhaps a reduced price for a breakfast without meat. Otherwise the accomodation was very adequate. Would stay again.
Summary
Friendly and helpful reception, which was good. Room fairly basic with small shower room but about adequate. A little concerned at loose power sockets which really should be sorted. No info in the room about internet access which was a bit frustrating.
Summary
A small hotel that came up in late rooms as 3 stars for 1/3 of the cost of the conference I was attending at a nearby hotel. Hence this appeared to be good value. Service was excellent. I am quite tall and the top floor single room I was offered had a smaller bed placed in an alcove. The room was kindly exchanged to one with a larger bed.
The room was small and basic, but comfortable and clean with a small double bed, a desk area, a chair, chest of drawers, built-in cupboard, coffee making facilities, a shower and excellent wireless internet.
A few small gripes could be that the shower was hard to adjust and either to hot or too cold and not so powerful. The towels were a bit old and rough. The in-room safe was not working. There was no shampoo. The safe was resolved by leaving my valuables with reception. Shampoo was instantly provided when asked. All these were not enough of a concern for me to make any kind of complaint.
All 3 hotel staff I spoke with were helpful and friendly. I did not have any food at the hotel, but Late Rooms does not allow me to leave this section above without a score. A cost of GBP4 seems very reasonable for a continental breakfast though.
Perfect for what I wanted - a comfortable night in Hammersmith at a reasonable price. To be honest, I didn't stay in the hotel long - just needed a base for the night, but it was well appointed and comfortable. Couldn't have reasonably expected any more.
Summary
Lovely friendly staff,great food,very helpful.
Summary
The hotel is very small, it doesn't even have proper reception. Main strong points are: location and cleanliness of rooms. There are plenty of shops, takeaways and pubs nearby, with a bus stop just by front doors or 10 minutes walk to bus and tube station (about 5 tube stops to city centre and Westminster). Rooms are cleaned every day, but they are pretty small (just enough space for beds and small table). The staff are very polite and helpful. The biggest caveat is breakfast, don't add that to your room. Continental breakfast costs £4 and what you get is couple toasts and 3 or 4 different hams/sausages (plus of course jams/honey etc etc). The quality is not bad but for that price you can go to a Chinese takeaway on the other side of the street and get e.g. pretty big chow-mein portion. To sum up this hotel is great for short stays, I was in London to watch NFL game at Wembley stadium, so if you want just a place to take rest go for Dalmacia Hotel, beds are high and comfy and a shower's powerful. For longer stays, romantic or family trips definitely go somewhere else.
Summary
This hotel is not located in a central area, the beds are uncomfortable and the bathroom in my room was tiny. The breakfast was OK, the employees were very nice, and they offer free wi fi, but the hotel was not a good choice. I have to say that I should have expected all of this for what I payed.
Summary
On arrival at the Dalmacia I was met by a friendly gentleman on reception who checked me in. I was given my room key and a front door key and made my way to my room. The room was spotlessly clean and had a small en-suite shower room leading off. There was a kettle with tea/coffee etc and a flat LCD tv on the wall. I booked breakfast on Sunday morning which is available 7am-9am. The chef/waiter was not particularly friendly but the full english breakfast was cooked to perfection. On Sunday night there was some rowdy/noisy guests in the next room who kept me awake for a while with loud talking/laughing so the sound proofing between rooms is not very good but the bed was comfortable. Would stay again if the price was right.
Summary
Couldnt fault anything. booked in a hurry because got tickets for strictly. clean roomy comfortable. continental breakfast had loads of choice. staff very friendly. helpful with buses, taxis and local knowledge (bus stop right outside) despite living in the middle of nowhere and expecting to be kept awake by noise, i had a good nights' sleep. will definitly use again. thank you
Summary
The only point I must make this that the towels were like sandpaper, so much so one of them actually scratched my daughter, towels don't need starch, they need fabric conditioner, it really spoilt a nice stay. I hope something is done about this.
Summary
Clean but beds are knackred!!
Summary
We really enjoyed our stay at The Dalmacia Hotel and were very pleased with the customer service, cleanliness, room size and the overall stay. The staff were lovely and readily helped us up 6 floors with our extremely heavy luggage, and then down again on our last day. The room was basic but spotless with a good flat screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The staff were very accommodating and couldn't do enough for us. After checking out, The Dalmacia rang us to let us know we'd left a diary, an iPod and two sets of keys in a drawer and said they would keep them safe for us until we could come back and get them. It's a very good hotel for somewhere to sleep, be safe and keep your belongings safe. The location was good and the area was very pleasant, as two young women we were worried about walking back late at night but we had no trouble and it was very quiet. It's not luxurious, but let's face it, when travelling, you don't spend all day in the hotel. We will definitely be staying here again :)
Summary
Stayed for two nights, Friday and Saturday 2/3 Sept: 2011. Reception very friendly. Room was clean with small but very adequate shower en suite. Comfortable bed, TV in room and also tea/coffee facilities Secure safe located in room for personal use if required. Hotel is within a few minutes walk of Tube stations. For someone visiting the City just needing somewhere clean and comfortable to stay at a very reasonable cost, I really think the Dalmatia Hotel was ideal. I will most definitely stay there again when in London.
Summary
The hotel was quite basic but very clean, good shower and all you needed for a short break away.
The room was a bit small but we did'nt spend much time in it anyway!
Breakfast was good but the service a little slow, which is ok if you are not in a rush.
We were made to feel very welcome. All the staff were very friendly and polite. The room was very clean, very good value for London. Superb location. 5 min walk from the Hammersmith tube. Great pubs and delis serving amazing food. 10 min walk into Shepherds Bush with loads of great restaurants at the Mall. Perfect spot. Would definately return.
Summary
Upgraded to a double room at no extra charge - very welcome
Summary
Just a 1 night stay with my teenage daughters,we found the room clean and tidy with adequate storage space. Room had shower/toilet which was also v.clean. Staff v.friendly and v.helpful. Breakfast was also v.nice with a nice selection. Unfortunately the only complaint i have is i found it slightly overpriced compared to others in the same area. Would stay again and would recommend it to others!
Summary
My room at the Dalmacia Hotel was small but this is to be expected in London. I was right at the top of the Hotel so had no window - only a skylight. The room was also VERY warm as all the heat from below was rising to the top of the house. All in all a good Hotel, pleasant staff and i would stay again.
Summary
Very clean and good location to transport
Summary
I travelled alone with my two children aged 16 and 10 and felt safe and comfortable. The hotel was a 5-10 minute walk from Hammersmith Station which is an excellent line for getting into the city centre quickly. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. We had the option of choosing either a continental or full english breakfast the night before at a very reasonable cost. A basic but clean hotel, one that I would definitely stay in again.
Summary
Great value for money, freshly decorated, polite staff. Nothing was too much if anything needed.
Vast breakfast availability that cater for all. Thank you and will be staying again soon.
