Summary
Stayed for 3 nights in January, solo traveler so cost savings not as good as duo room occupancy. The hotel is situated about 10-15mins walk from ShepBush station, also close to a Vue Cinema complex near the station, and a Cafe Rouge virtually opposite the hotel, which offers a better breakfast content and ambiance than the hotel, for similar or less cost. Room just ok, slightly grubby in places, with sheets and blankets instead of a duvet, but decent size and a desk (but a stool instead of a chair). Couldn't get WiFi access to work, but improvised with a dongle. Toilet flush malfunctioned on day 2 but was repaired very promptly. Overall, a 2 star type of hotel, ideally suited cost wise for a couple rather than a solo traveler.
Summary
Its about a ten minute walk from the Hammersmith tube station, an excellent location for the piccadilly line and district (main sight seeing locations on these). The receptionist was very friendly, rooms spacious and very clean, will definately use this hotel again in the future.
Summary
Having had some dreadfull experiences with London Hotels in the past, it was a pleasure to find one that ticked all the right box's. Staff were very polite, room was very clean and serviced every day, I was there for 3.
I wanted a change from the usual breakfast and ordered egg on toast which was supplied with copius amonts of coffee. I was also allowed to leave my overnight bag in the office after I had checked out in order to attend the Cenotaph Parade. Do recommend you try this hotel.
The outside of the property looked very shabby and to be honest i was dreading going in! Once in however, it was very pleasent! room nice and clean and couldnt fault the continental breakfast!!
Would advise to tidy up the outside and it would do a cracking trade for the amount of money charged!
My 1 night stay was fine at this hotel. My welcome at reception was very friendly. The room was very clean and cosy. All facilities worked ok.
At £65 for a good single room in London I was very satisfied.
Very pleasant stay. Only comment is regarding full English breakfast.I am vegetarian. I paid the same for a cooked breakfast without meat as those who had a plate with sausage and bacon. Would be nice if a veggy option were available. If not then perhaps a reduced price for a breakfast without meat. Otherwise the accomodation was very adequate. Would stay again.
Summary
Friendly and helpful reception, which was good. Room fairly basic with small shower room but about adequate. A little concerned at loose power sockets which really should be sorted. No info in the room about internet access which was a bit frustrating.
Summary
A small hotel that came up in late rooms as 3 stars for 1/3 of the cost of the conference I was attending at a nearby hotel. Hence this appeared to be good value. Service was excellent. I am quite tall and the top floor single room I was offered had a smaller bed placed in an alcove. The room was kindly exchanged to one with a larger bed.
The room was small and basic, but comfortable and clean with a small double bed, a desk area, a chair, chest of drawers, built-in cupboard, coffee making facilities, a shower and excellent wireless internet.
A few small gripes could be that the shower was hard to adjust and either to hot or too cold and not so powerful. The towels were a bit old and rough. The in-room safe was not working. There was no shampoo. The safe was resolved by leaving my valuables with reception. Shampoo was instantly provided when asked. All these were not enough of a concern for me to make any kind of complaint.
All 3 hotel staff I spoke with were helpful and friendly. I did not have any food at the hotel, but Late Rooms does not allow me to leave this section above without a score. A cost of GBP4 seems very reasonable for a continental breakfast though.
Perfect for what I wanted - a comfortable night in Hammersmith at a reasonable price. To be honest, I didn't stay in the hotel long - just needed a base for the night, but it was well appointed and comfortable. Couldn't have reasonably expected any more.
