Just stayed one night on a flying busines trip to London. Staff on reception and in the bar / restaurant were very pleasant and helpful; the room was spacious, in good condition and clean, with a decent shower; food (downstairs) was OK pub grub at a sensible price. There was a good selection of cold food at breakfast - fresh fruit, decent yogurt, fresh breads - only the watery orange juice was a bit of a let-down. All in all, I was very pleasantly surprised given the modest price.
Summary
Second time we have stayed here - very good value for the standard of hotel and also extremely handy for central London. Jump on the bus outside the hotel, jump off down the road at Kilburn tube and you're in London in no time at all. Room was comfortable and of a good standard - only one 'complaint' - it had no external wall or window, so they had installed a strange 'fake' window with a faux-daylight effect light shining through it. Admittedly it was very realistic, but I still felt a bit claustrophobic and would specifically ask for a room with a real window in future!
Summary
Very good value for money.

Very satisfied with our stay, lovely rooms, fantastic service. Very polite

Rob and I had a really lovely stay< The room was amazing, service fantastic and everyone extremely friendly.
We will absolutely stay again and will recommend to our friends!
Value for money ? BIG FAT YES!!!
A clean & tidy hotel with welcoming & pleasant staff. Decent size room for 3 adults plus it's not too far from the train station. Only had breakfast there which was good on the first morning when it was waitress service but appeared to be a buffet at the weekend which resulted in lots of people waiting for food to come out of the kitchen. Hotel did appear to be full though & wasn't too much of a wait so overall a very good stay
Stayed here on Friday night, hotel was beyond expectations, very clean, service excellent and room was one of the best I have ever stayed in. Breakfast was worth going for alone. Cannot speak too highly about this hotel, well worth a visit, you will not be disappointed. Good position with excellent links via underground and bus ,both of which we used to visit a show at Wembley arena. Holly in reception was very informative and kept us right on the transport links. Had a meal in the restaurant which was very good and well worth the money. We will definitely stay here on any future visits too London.

Summary
Good hotel, in a great location, bus just outside to the tube station or to Marble Arch. Rooms were very clean and the food was great. The hotel staff were very freindly and helpful. Would stay at this hotel again if going to London.
Summary
Suite provided with panoramic views. Unbelievable value and service. I would not have complained if we had paid 3 times as much for the room !!!
Benefited from other customer comments on Late Rooms. If this helps with your decision- you will not be disappointed.
Nice modern decor. Stayed here before and its in a good location for central london. Pool out. Of order though!
Summary
Really nice hotel, impressive interior, spotlessly clean and very friendly and efficient staff. Room was spacious and clean. Bed very comfy. The downsides were our room was on the ground floor at the front on the busy high street. It was very warm, air conditioning not great and we daren't open a window at night because of where we were located. We ordered room service as we arrived late. The food was ok but could have been hotter. The underground car park was small and tricky to access/exit (if you drive anything bigger than a Passat don't even try using the car park). Overall a really nice hotel and reasonably priced.
Summary
This hotel is a bit of an oasis in a busy area, not cheap (£190 double B&B / 1 night) but that's London for you.
The hotel itself is attached to the Crown pub & is only 10 minutes walk from Willesden Green tube station giving easy access to the city, especially Wembley Arena. Underground parking was available on site (very useful) and the staff were friendly & helpful. The room was modern & clean with a good bathroom, very comfortable bed and the breakfast was excellent.
All in all a comfortable stay and I wouldn't hesitate in using this hotel in the future.

Summary
The hotel was ideally located to easily get into Central London without taking your car from the hotel car park and so advoiding a congestion charge. Choice of 2 Tube Stations and frequent bus services. Plenty of take away food outlets within walking distance if you want a cheaper option to hotel food. Unusually the modern hotel incorporated the original old Crown public house, by way of a large glass reception area. As the bar area of the old building was retained, you could drink and have bar snacks in an authentic atmosphere, divorced from the usual bland modern decor of the main part of the modern hotel. Downside was a small underground hotel car park and very limited parking outside hotel.
Summary
Nice hotel, and only a short distance from train station so convenient for the city, yet away from the main hussle. Didnt get chance to enjoy the facilities and ate out, but what i did see what of a high standard. My only gripe, i had to ask 2x for an iron and it took over an hour to be brought to me - with a grunt, I had a train to catch and it did make me late, other than that, evrything else was totally fine and will stay again - highly recommend.
Summary
Excellent hotel, very comfortable room. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Would stay again. We were impressed that the General Manager took the time to email after our stay and thank us for completing the customer feedback form in the room - we've always competed these in other hotels but never really thought anyone read them!
Summary
A very well furnished hotel in an easy to reach location. Staff were helpful and supportive. Facilities were excellent and ranged from the heated swimming pool, to the car park to the characterful attached pub. Easy access for transfers into and out of London. Will use again.
Summary
Great hotel, 10 minutes walk from the tube, great staff, excellent breakfast. Ok gym, very little weights, good machines though. I didn't use the pool but it looks ok although it is un attended if you have children and has no real viewing areas due to it's basement location.
The only downside to my stay were the evening meals in the bar. Very, very poor and would advise you to go out, I was surprised at this due to the good breakfast.
£2.45 for britvic orange and soda is having a laugh ....
Wow - I think our search for a good quality, good value hotel within easy travelling distance of central London may finally be over! Driving along Cricklewood Broadway to the Crown Moran I was a little worried by the ranks of kebab shops, slightly faded newsagents and tanning salons but the hotel is a little gem tucked away next to the McDonalds. It was easily the equal of a number of 'business-style' hotels I have stayed in over the years. Our 5th floor room was huge with vast windows offering panoramic views (yes, OK, they were views of Cricklewood Broadway, but they were still panoramic!) The double bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in and there was a proper extra single bed for our son. Shower took a good minute or two to warm up but was then more than hot enough and the air-conditioning worked effectively. The room had all the other facilities you'd expect and when we phoned down for an iron and ironing board it was brought up within 5 mins. If I was being picky, some of the furnishings & fittings were maybe showing their age slightly but everything was clean and everything worked. We had breakfast in the restaurant - an excellent full cooked breakfast and a varied continental buffet was on offer and the service was prompt and polite. The underground car park is very small but we had no trouble getting a space (maybe because it was a quiet time of year). The train station is a 5 minute walk from the hotel but we preferred to take the tube from Kilburn - a 10 minute walk or a very quick ride on one of the frequent buses along the Broadway. The Jubilee line took us into central London in about 15-20 mins. All in all, I would highly recommend the Crown Moran and we will certainly be using it again on our next visit to London.
Summary
No complaints at all hotel was excellent, only problem i had was that the plugs along the desk top were too close so could not fit most plugs in! Althouh this was no real drama!
Summary
I have twice stayed at this hotel. Each time was for one night after my son and I had attended an England football match at Wembley.
It is fairly well placed for Wembley. Willesden Green tube station is a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Cricklewood main line train station is just 5 minutes walk.
The hotel is in a lively part of town. It is on a busy road surrounded by fast food outlets. MacDonalds, KFC and Burger King, for example, are all within a stones throw. Many of the local shops cater for a very cosmopolitan population including asian, west indian and eastern european.
During the stay I relented and went into MacDonalds to get my son a kids meal. I was surprised to find there was a young man begging to the customers. I declined his request but did think again when he preceded to give my son a lecture on the benefits of having a resident father and the dangers of 'the street'! He approached several customers and went unchallenged by staff.
I asked for a quiet twin room and was accommodated on the fifth floor. The room was clean and large and I was pleased to find a single and a double bed. I am quite tall so the double bed was a bonus. If you disregard the constant traffic noise, the police sirens and the drunken arguements in the street below through the night and just consider (the absence of)noise from within the hotel then indeed it was a quiet room!
Last time I stayed here I was given a dingy little room lower down in the hotel. It did not capture quite so much of the street scene acted out outside though.
My son and I made use of thehotel's reasonable sized indoor swimming pool. I noticed there was a decent gymnasium too.
I had a drink at the hotel's pub. I was a bit surprised to be told children have to be out by 6pm. I had a pint of the Staropramen lager which is normally one of my favourites. It did not taste quite right to me - possible a bit stale? During our last visit we ate in the pub and found the food to be reasonably good.
Breakfast was average. The buffet selection was reasonable. The fried eggs had set and some of the fruit in the fruit cocktail was not ripe. Last time I was there some local drunks/drug addicts blagged their way to a free breakfast. It was obvious they were not guests but the staff were completely ineffectual. It seemed to me the staff knew what was going on but did not want the conflict of challenging & removing them. I was quite concerned that they tagged on to an elderly couple to make it look like they knew them that I kept an eye on them myself to ensure the elderly guests were not taken advantage of.
A stay here is certainly a slice of London life. The hotel itself is nice particularly the public areas and it is handily placed. It is not for everyone but I daresay I will return.
What a great hotel. Smart, stylish, clean and the staff (apart from the restaurant) really could not do enough to help. Manager really went out of his way to make sure we had a great stay after the restaurant manager was very unhelpful (telling us we were too late for dinner, at 20 seconds past 10 in the evening, when the welcome pack states the restaurant is open until 10.30pm. Great little Indian restaurant, 2 mins walk down the street towards the station, same side as the hotel, green frontage, lovely food and and very very reasonably priced!!!
Summary
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent with wide choice of cereals, fruit, breads etc.. Also full cooked breakfast if you wish. Paid for evening meal in restaurant on one evening and it was excellent and reasonably priced. Bar meal was o.k. too.
Room was very nice, clean and spacious. Can't fault our stay.

Super hotel in North London. Location suited us but might not suit everybody.
Summary
Great hotel in middle of kilburn-great pool-lovely breakfast-huge room-bus stop to paddington outside front door- pub attached, shops and restaurants galore
tube a fair walk away but bus stop outside can take you; breakfast a little confusing as cooked to order and self service combined and no staff to explain
Couldnt complain only down side was the harsh parking charge
Summary
Seemed a reasonable price compared with the high costs of most London hotels of similar standard. We had a good sized, comfortable room.
We were disappointed with the breakfast on Sat & Sun. Although self service, they did not seem to be able to cope with the numbers and food, cups, etc ran out though were replaced. We didn't think much of the food quality so didn't want to try dinner
Room was spot less as was the rest of the hotel.
Only issue was I found the car park quite tight
Lovely hotel, just watch out for the lift from reception up to the rooms, the doors shut really quickly when you're still trying to get in it and I was left with bruised arms to show for it!! Other than that a very nice hotel, staff were all very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good.
Summary
Excellent room - quiet - I thought it would have been noisy. The quality of both breakfasts and evening meal was very good - breakfast included in the room rate and the evening meal very reasonable price for London.
I was particularly impressed with the way the duty manager treated his staff at breakfast. I am sure they must have felt valued. Whilst this might not have had an immediate impact upon the service I received, I am sure staff treated in such a way will be well-motivated. It was nice to see and it got my day off to a good start - well done.
Thought the hotel was lovely & very clean. I was disappointed that the pool was under going maintenance though as I had hoped to use it. Feel room should have been discounted for this reason as I was not told of this at the time of booking.
Summary
The room was satisfactory. It was quite small and my wife compared it with a lower budget hotel. The TV was a little blurred. The staff service was pretty good, but the pool was a little disappointing which didn't encourage you to swim. The location was good for the buses which stopped right outside. Overall we had a good time but felt the hotel was not 4 star standard but perhaps for London it was good value for money. Breakfast was included which was good but the standard of the food was only OK.
Summary
Great hospitality. Thank you.
Summary
First time at this hotel and will not be last. Excellent in every respect. Quality leisure centre including a great pool which is only open to hotel guests. Evening meal was superb and the Irish breakfast was a great start to the day.
Summary
The customer service at this hotel was quite good, with them wanting to make good any complaints that we had, but the fact remains that we had these complaints to begin with! The first thing we complained about was the room service, the lady taking the order could speak very little English so this made it very difficult to place the order, it then took them 10-15 mins to call us back to tell us that they didn't have one of the dishes. We changed our order but then when it came some of the order was wrong and the chips were only just warm! When we complained at reception the following morning the lady was very apologetic and offered to remove the entire cost so we were more than happy with this resolution. The next thing that cropped up was that when we went to brush our teeth that night the cold tap was running hot and the only way we could get it to run cold was by running the bath/shower at the same time. It did this again in the morning and the following evening. Our last gripe was that when we went for breakfast on the Monday morning having only had breakfast on the Saturday and Sunday, it was not explained to us that there was no hot buffet on weekdays, nor were we given a menu from which to order. After waiting for a highchair for 15 minutes we then asked if we could have a menu and got a very curt response, no apologies for having kept us waiting. We mentioned both of these things when we checked out and the gentleman on the desk seemed very concerned. He did say that we should have reported the cold water situation straight away and it would have been fixed but as we only ever used the cold water to brush our teeth we were either just about to get into bed or to head out. They did give us free parking to make up for these experiences which is great but the fact that these things went on marred our stay.
On the plus side this hotel is well placed, being outside the congestion zone and within a bus ride of central London attractions.
Really a very high standard for London Hotel. Very pleased with breakfast gave wide range of food and drinks to try. Pub attached to hotel very good and reasonable food. Generally very helpful at front desk and there was a bus stop right outside for transport to tube stations. Would definetly stay again.
