Great stay

We stayed in these apartments for 2 nights and found them very clean and presentable. All staff were friendly and collecting your keys from another building was no hassle in our experience. Great location for London and Canary Wharf, would definately staff again.

A great alternative to a hotel

A good alternative to a hotel - particularly when travelling with young teenages - very handy for the
02 Arena - bit of a pain to have to pick up keys from another location but that is the only negative. Excellent car parking facilites too!

Corona apartments

Not aware when booking that the collection of keys for the apartments is at a different apartment block some distance away. This is a hassle after having traveled a long way on the train and tube with baggage and children.
The beds only have 1 wafer thin pillow per person with no spares available and when I contacted assistance I was told that they were unable to help with this.
The apartments are certainly also more than 20 mins outside of London center I would say 40 mins is a better estimate.
On the plus side if you don't mind the hassle of the keys and the long travel into anywhere they are good value for money, clean and the 2 bed apartment is great when travelling with children/teens.

Great stay

The apartment was even more than what we expected. Generous spaces for a two room, clean, concierges very helpful, mini-market right in front of development. The only caveat was the pickup of the keys in another location. Location was a 5 minute walk to the DLR and from there connections to anywhere in town. If you do not mind being 20 minutes away from the center of town and attractions this place is very good value for the money.

The Corona Apartments were wonderful.
We stayed on floor seven in the pent house.
The room was furnished with everything you could possibly need and the comforts of living at your very own home.
All of the bedrooms were a very good size with beautiful views of either the ocean, or London city.
Its a very big space and even the couches were so comfortable you could sleep on them as well.
I stayed there with my 17 and 19 year old kids and they loved it.
Only a 15 minute ride on the tube into central London, and Canary Wharf is a very nice area in general. My 17 year old daughter and i went for night walks along the ocean and felt very safe.
Absolutely no complaints and would highly recommend the room for any travellers interested, no matter what age.

Lovely Accomodation - a bit annoying having to pick the keys up from another place

Great serviced apartment all the amenities you could need. It was just a pain having to pick up the keys from another apartment block. Great customer service when we wanted to upgrade to a car parking space.
Thanks

The best accommodation I have ever stayed in

I've been used to staying at hotels/cottages/caravans in the past and more often than not, the website pictures and reviews have never stacked up against the actual accommodation. This is the first time I have stayed in an appartment but more importantly, the first time my expectations have been massively exceeded.
We stayed in Appartment 18 which, from opening the front door ,was very impressive. Tidy, stylish, minimalist decor. Great sized living room and kitchen. Massive main double bedroom (en-suite) and a more than adequate double bedroom with separate bathroom.
My friend (who lives in London) was so impressed that she was even saying how nice it would be to live in one of these appartments. We will definitely be coming back!

Very spacious, with all the comforts we required for a fun weekend out

The Corona apartments were great for me and my friends to stay in for a birthday weekend mainly relaxing during the day and going to a few bars at night.
The apartment was very clean, and comes with everything you might need such as fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, iron, tv, dvd player etc...
As everyone has said, expect to get lost while collecting the key as unless you know the area, a sat nav will probably take you to the wrong place, Ours consistently took us back through the blackwell tunnel a number of times.
All in all very impressed, especially for the price we paid. Would recommend.

The Tube is My Friend

This apartment is a ways from downtown, but just a short walk to the DLR train and access to the underground. For the money is was worth being out a bit. The apartment was nice and the area was good with a small store across the street and we never felt unsafe.

Brilliant Value

I booked a 2 bed apartment as the whole of Canary Wharf was full, so my expectations were low.
The apartements were beautiful and extremely spacious.....2 rooms for 1 person. And it is easily within walking distance of Canary Wharf so perfect for work. I only have 2 gripes though,. 1. to pick up the keys you have to travel to the other end of canary wharf and with luggage this meant a taxi ride. 2. the welcome pack was extensive but nowhere on it did it say complimentary so i avoided touching it for fear of a large bill on departure. If only they could say it was free I would have been so impressed.

Corona Apartments

The apartment was imaculate and we had all we neeeded. The directions to the apartment were dreadful and it wasted alot of time having to collect keys from a different location, this does need to be addressed! The windows were filthy and it did spoil the feel of the surroundings I appreciate alot of building work is being carried out but the dirt was engrained.

If you like some soft furnishings, this will leave you a little disappointed

Thoroughly Recommended

We had to pick up our apartment keys from an office situated by the Four Seasons Hotel which was a bit of a trek with luggage after getting off the DLR train at Canary Wharf. (15 min walk). We then had to go back to the train station to get a train to Blackwall which involved a change and finally a short walk to the Carona Apts. Cost of taxi from here to the Carona Apts we were told was £6.00. We couldn't understand why the keys couldn't be left with the concierge at the apartments, as we were told to leave the keys with him on our departure. Nevertheless, the customer service was very good when we collected our keys and we were told we had been upgraded to a two bedroom apartment. It was very clean and spacious and had a superb view of Canary Wharf from our balcony where we could sit and have an evening drink. The only let down was there were a couple of pieces of crockery with cracks and chips. We only had one dishwasher tablet, no detergent for washing up and we did have a three night stay. There was a very good convenience shop across the road from the apartments which was very handy. Overall I would definitely recommend it and stay there again.

A clean, spacious apartment that was quite good value for money.

The apartment was clean and pleasant. The concierge was extremely helpful. Only downside was that it was a big hassel to collect our keys from canary wharf then travel over to Corona apartment lugging all our cases with us. They should really lay on a shuttle service.

Review

My colleague and I were in London on business (12 nights). We worked during nights and slept during the day.
Overall, the apartment was clean and bright. Worth the money we paid. It's about a 5 minute walk from DLR train station. It's about a 15 minute walk to Canary Wharf. Across the street in the next building there is a convienent store.
The apartment is a furnished with two bedrooms, 1 bedroom has ensuite. There is a dining room table with chairs and living room with sofa and chair for watching TV. With TV there is a DVD player and CD player to enjoy. Wireless internet access is available at an extra charge.
Apartment has electric heaters. I'm guessing there is no air conditioning because a fan was provided.
Kitchen comes with microwave, toaster, kettle, refrigerator, dishwasher, stove top and oven. You get some pots, one pan. Bowls, plates, cups, spoons, knives and forks are provided for 4-6 people.
If you want to make pasta, bring a colliander to drain the pasta, we had to improvise.
The apartment has washing/dryer machine combined. The clothes take a very long time to dry using the machine.
Instructions for the microwave and washing machine were missing.
Housekeeping is once a week.
If you stay more than a week, buy yourself some dishwasher detergent, dish detergent, washing machine detergent, some paper towels and extra toilet paper.
Again..overall worth the money. I would stay there again if I got the same price £140/night.

I'd definitely go back!!!

The apartment was beautiful. It was spotless, light and airy, roomy, comfortable and with dishwasher, washer/dry, microwave, toaster etc. Ensuite bathroom with nice deep bath and shower and lovely power shower in separate bathroom. The cleaner was lovely, concierge was great too. The only bad side was that after hours of travelling and then going to sign in and pick up the keys, we were given really bad directions and rubbish, poorly-marked and practically irrelevant map so spent an hour driving around looking for the place. Had we been provided with a good map and/or proper directions the customer service ratings would have been 6. Would also have been good to have a 'quick start' guide available next to the washer/drier. There were a load of manuals under the sink for all electrical items, but it was way too much to sift through.
