The room was quite small it was difficult...
The room was quite small ; it was difficult to close the inside door as it brushed the end of the bed.However, it was very clean & tidy and there was enough room on surface tops and in wardrobes for clothes.

We had booked the Commodore purely as it was near Hyde Park . What a find this hotel was. Very good safe location.Lovely building,breakfast included and was very good. All staff very friendly and approachable.

Well thats the answer I would give to...
Well thats the answer I would give to someone asking me if I would stay here again! There was nothing wrong with the hotel as such, but there was nothing that sparkled either. The room was well set out, but the furniture looked cheap and the plant on the shelf had dust on it that is older than I am!The staff were a little over eager - make sure to put out the DO NOT DISTURB sign unless you want the room cleaned at 8am even if you are only staying the one night! The staff in the restaurant at breakfast spoke very little English but were polite and tried to be helpful!To be honest for something purporting to be a 4 Star hotel.. it just doesn't live up to it, knock off 2 stars, lower your expectations and The Commodore would be a great place to leave your bags whilst doing some sight seeing.

I would like to have stayed a little...
I would like to have stayed a little longer as there was quite a nice feel about the place and I was unfortunate enough not to sample the quality of the food.It was a well placed hotal as I stay in this area often and it was not too big which I like.The staff were efficient if not particularly friendly and I will stay here again in the near future.GM
