The Columbus is situated in elegant tree-lined Sussex Gardens, in the Paddington/Hyde Park area. The property is about 180 years old and formerly a residence of 18th/19th centuries wealthy families, and has now been converted to provide you a good quality budget bed & breakfast hotel. This is the current pick of 'budget hotels', with rooms decorated to a good standard. Most rooms have a small cubical bathroom with shower, wash basin and toilet, adequate by London standards. Some rooms have fixed bathrooms of similar size, however the rooms are delightful - definitely our favourite 'budget hotel'.
