The hotel was very quiet for central London, and the room was extremely comfortable. We only had breakfast there, which was pretty ordinary save for the fact we had it on the balcony.
All the staff were great and all in all it was a very relaxing stay, perhaps a little on the pricey side. We would definitely go back.

I am a regular visitor to the Colonnade Hotel, and find the whole experience very enjoyable.
The staff do their utmost to accomodate visitors. I had scheduled meetings for the afternoon at the hotel, they opened up the garden for me and brought drinks during the afternoon meetings without having to be prompted. The restaurant serves excellent tapas, although my cooked breakfast could have been better.
The hotel is in an excellent location very close the the Warwick Avenue tube station with plenty of 4 hr parking meters nearby, and quite near a NCP. One point to mention, the lift only goes to the third floor, and the fourth floor is via a steep staircase, so if access is important mention that at time of booking.

Stayed on a Saturday for some Londomn touring and met friends at Primrose Hill later. Free parking at the weekends is useful. The room was up several flights of stairs, but not a problem if you are in ok shape. The lift doesn't go to all floors if not, so check your room. The room, fittings, bed etc were all in excellent condition and the service was fine. Breakfast was good quality and unhurried. Local pubs were excellent. Definitely somewhere I would stop again.

Situated perfectly away from the hustle and bustle but easy access to the West End from Warwick Road tube (yes, Duffy land) less than a minutes walk away. Clean, comfortable, good service. Only down side was that the bar wasn't open on a Monday - we didn't know that. Several good restaurants nearby.

We didn't have dinner or breakfast so can't comment on the food.
We were upgraded to a deluxe room which was a nice surprise and made the room excellent value for money.
On the downside however, the room was next to / above bar so the loud music was frustrating, the room windows were painted shut so we had to have the air con on all night, the room was in need of an update generally, the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor and the bath robes from the previous guest were left in our room . . .
In short the finishing touches were lacking and we won't be staying again.

The Collonade is a lovely well furnished hotel and I stayed for 4 nights. The staff are very friendly. However, I was put in a top floor room (4th floor) and the bathroom was not heated. It was very cold weather and it was really not suitable to use the bathroom. I complained after the 2nd night and was given a fan heater, though the cable would not reach to the bathroom, so a waste of time. Complimentary cold bottled water just made it seem colder still! The early morning "plumbing" from the water system was very noisy from about 5am so I woke very early each morning. I would use the Collonade again, but always ask for a first, second or third floor room. I was disappointed that I was not offered a change of room - it was not good value for 4 nights. in a smallish room with a freezing bathroom. The area round the hotel is excellent for places to eat

Visited London as part of my wife's 40th birthday celebrations. Hotel staff were very welcoming and efficient. Having driven to London I booked a space in their car park at 20 per night - good job I had booked as it was extremely small and only had room for 2 cars behind a garage door on a steep incline. Room was well presented, clean and comfortable. Breakfast at 16 per head seemed expensive so decided to give it a miss - had a full english on way home at half the price!

Nice Victorian style townhouse - rooms can be small & hidden up lots of stairs. Bathrooms are disappointing - not up to the standard of the room. Aircon units are noisy - but essential.

This hotel was wonderful. In a quiet area, only a few hundred meters from the underground station and a short walk from the river, the hotel was stylish and comfortable and the staff very friendly. The room was fairly spacious for London and the bed extremely confortable with a great duck down duvet. I will definately stay again.

Room was on the 4th (top) floor and there is no lift. The room was small, and though it looked plush it was a little tired. The visitor book in the room was full and the light in the wardrobe had blown. The bathroom was also tiny. Checking in and out was hassel free though.

I could not flaw our stay at the Colonnade. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated. We had our own balcony on which we enjoyed our substantial breakfast and it was such a haven so close to the centre of London. We will defiately be back here before too long.

Truly a beautiful hotel with nice, but typically small, rooms. Attention to detail is a bit less than perfect. We did not get consistent turndown service, sometimes phone calls to the front desk went unanswered, we summoned someone to help us with the climate control but he didn't understand it either and a request for a phone number from the front desk was greeted with indifference.
Having said all that, the breakfast was outstanding, the off-season rate reasonable (for London, obviouslyl) and the neighborhood is delightfully quite (though we could sometimes hear tube rumbling in our room).
