Polite staff in foyer and helpful introduction. Accomodation clean and spacious. Good location for transport to city.

Amazing value - £39 and had a whole suite to myself

This was my second stay with City Hotel, and the room was if anything worse than the first time. Maintenance is poor, or virtually non-existent. The shower is the worst I've encountered anywhere and it was clearly not a recent problem, simply evidence that noone cares.
There is no thought put into what someone who's on business might need (strange given its proximity to the city), power points are in useless positions and desk space is badly laid out despite the huge room. Not returning!

Although a little shabby and tired in places this hotel was excellent value for money, the room well equipped. It was a great location for me on this occasion.

I was looking for reasonably priced, easy to find, accommodation in a central location at short notice. The City Hotel was an excellent find in terms of location, customer service and price. Staff were very poite and helpful and the room whist basic was immaculate and met all of my needs. I will return.

Good value hotel, if like me, you only paid £39 for the night. Very close to tube station.
My room was a bit noisy as it was near the outside air conditioning unit but it was Clean and tidy.

The staff here are very accomodating, they let me have a late check out, free of charge which helped as my interview wasn't until later. The rooms were clean although quite reflective of a 3 star basic hotel. It is quite a noisy area but may just be London in general. Would be great location if my trip was for leisure purposes.

Got a very good deal on a room here - normally would expect the very cheap rooms to be tiny, or have something else wrong with them, but not at all. Large room, very clean, comfortable, good location, good facilities. Absolute bargain.
