It makes such a difference having a kitchen and toaster in the mornings. The location is perfect. Close ot the financial district and close to the West End without being stuck in either.

Perfect way fo staying in London. Central to both the City and the West End with a kitchen and fridge so you can have a nice breakfast etc. I have booked for next week as well.

If you haven't stayed in a Citadines before...
If you haven't stayed in a Citadines before the format is a little different to normal hotel. In studio room there is pull done bed (easy to do), convertible from sofa. My experience is that once it's down it tends to stay down, so in that sense becomes much like normal hotel room except bed has a few sticking out metal bits to watch out for. Great if you want ot self cater as kitchenette is well equipped. In room no extra bedding is provided, only the sheets on bed and one blanket. So can get cold - but then I haven't got round to asking if more bedding is available and room has air conditioning/heating. I stayed here becuase price was very good, but normally more expensive than Premier Inn - which is comparable/may be higher standard.

A crap nights sleep on an uncomfortable bed and 145 for a put you up sofa is extortionate. Won't be coming again. And the lady receptionist was just short of rude.

The room was a good size, the location excellent. The room was clean when we arrived, and quiet at night. The only problem was that they don't offer house keeping during your stay. They only clean the rooms after you leave, not after the first night.

One resaon why I will recommend this hotel to others who are looking for a good place to stay is that it is about the only "apartment" hotel you will find in central London with a small kitchenette. Customer Service has much to be desired. A lot of time, my call to the front desk went without answer. People are courteous. Rooms are nowhere close to an ordinary "Extended Stay" rooms in US.

Booked as a bed to lay our heads after a night out in central London, this was adequate accommodation for that purpose i.e. no point splashing out. Clean and tidy but I would not rate the kitchen facilities highly [although I did not actually use them] so would not book if I needed a self-catering option. Decent bathroom facilities for the price. Late Rooms description gave a fair representation of the quality of the room.

The hotel was comfortable and it is situated in an ideal central location. The room did get a bit chilly at times, but overall it was good. The room was not serviced during our 2 night stay, which wasn't a problem, but I would hope that rooms are serviced for longer stays.

I was on a dead line and had to choose this apartment, the reviews were not that amazing, but on arrival I was very happy with the place, the photos on line do not do it justice, I recommend this hotel and will be going back again, I did use the cooker but the microwave came in very handy as did kettle and dish washer!!

Stayed here before. Love the flexibility of having a real kitchen. This time the room was a little 'tired' and the previous guest had smoked in the room, which wasn't very pleasant (the room on our previous stay was A1). Fantastic location.

This is the second time i have stayed at this hotel, mainly due to lack of availability elesewhere. The room had a strange odour, the bed was uncomfortable and the window was hanging off on a single hinge. Other than that nothing more to recommend it.

Booked through late rooms cost 141 a night. Rate shown in hotel room (if booked direct) 120 a night.
Overnight parking 20 a night - cheap & secure, but only 10 or so spaces!!
However, excellent hotel, very clean and modern, with quality fittings throughout. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very private and well sound proofed. Kitchen amazingly well fitted, included a dishwasher!!
RECOMMENDED.

OK if you are on a budget. Location is very convenient to Tube station. Fold out bed is a pain. Do not eat at the so called award winning Thai restaurant round the corner it is garbage. The italian next to the hotel is much better.

We needed a place to stay in Holborn...
We needed a place to stay in Holborn for 1 night, this was the only place that didnt have a 2 night minimum. It is an aparthotel so had all the facilities in the room for a longer stay i.e cooker, toaster, kettle etc. The bed was a pull out sofa bed as we were in a studio which I must have missed when booking as it came as a bit of a shock. The fact that we were only staying one night made it bearable. The room was nice and tidy. Hotel was clean and friendly. Location is great, just opposite Holborn Underground station which was perfect for a one stop trip to Covent Garden, although it is still close enough for walking. All in all great for a 1 night stay. If you were staying for a weekend you may as well go for a nicer hotel with a restaurant and a proper bed. It would probably be a great place to stay if you were working in London for a while also.

Pull out bed was a suprise so don't expect a comfy nights sleep if staying for a long while - ideal location for exploring the rest of london but with plenty of other options in london for the same price I think it'd be best to look elsewhere.

this hotel was absolutely dreadful - the worst I have ver stayed in. The rooms were dirty and I had to pay 50 extra for a proper bed - the original bed was a fold up bed. The room was dirty and the carpet smelt.
