Lovely Hotel, nice and helpful staff, excellent location, the room we had at their other hotel Montague on the Gardens was nicer though, but would deffinetly stay here again.

The Chesterfield review was a lovely hotel to stay in, there was one man on the desk who i thought was fantastic (although I cannot remember his name unfortunately). He made the effort to go the extra mile and ensure that we were both happy with everything. Thank you for a lovely stay

My husband amp family booked this hotel as...
My husband & family booked this hotel as a surprise for my 50th birthday - all I can say is IT WAS PERFECT. The staff couldn't have been friendlier, attentive but not over-bearing - there when you needed them but in the background until you did. We ate in the hotel restaurant on our second evening, and again service, food, atmosphere were all excellent. The hotel is extremely central and quite close to a tube station. I cannot praise this hotel enough, we have stayed in hotels all around the world and this is by far the best we've ever stayed at.

We stayed at the hotel on the Mayfair...
We stayed at the hotel on the Mayfair package which was really excellent value for money. Champagne on arrival, afternoon tea and late checkout.<br />We were thoroughly spoiled. The staff were incredibly friendly and nice and it was, without a doubt, the best London Hotel I have ever stayed in. Thank you .

So comfortable and convenient - but rather expensive...
So comfortable and convenient - but rather expensive if you don't opt for Late Rooms!<br />The staff were so nice and helpful, it was a pleasure to stay there.

Superb hotel - I was in a small...
Superb hotel - I was in a small room on an excellent deal with LateRooms but still enjoyed the same quality of linen, towels, toiletries and service as the major suites. As an extra touch I was left a bath bomb on my pillow with the turndown service!

The Red Carnation hotel group never fails to...
The Red Carnation hotel group never fails to delight and this is no exception. From John Hudson's magical piano playing to the courteous front-of-house, door and bar staff our stay was exceptional. I particularly like the bar nibbles and the readily available fruit bowls.<br />I gather the hotel prides itself on the longevity of service and this is evident in the quality of service offered. <br />This hotel is also particularly well-placed for major attractions in the west-end

Excellent hotel supberb service only let down by...
Excellent hotel,supberb service only let down by after confirming our room (Twice!! it was for my wifes special birthday)they told me they had over booked,however in fairness they did over an upgrade to their sister Hotel.This hotel was booked for its location and after a bit of a show off they did honour our original booking.I still do not understand why Hotels continue to do this!?.When we arrived we did get some strange looks from the staff and guests we guessed they do not get many motorcyclists stay at their hotels :-)

Chesterfield is everything you would expect from a...
Chesterfield is everything you would expect from a classy hotel, but where it surpasses all other boutiques and 5 stars is in its understanding and delivery of true customer service. I work in a Customer service oriented organisation and wish all our staff could be as polished and helpful as the people here - and I had interaction with various levels and people. Everyone was above-par if not excellent. The hotel itself is great. Fantastic rooms, suites and exec suites - I was organising my first honeymoon night so I had a look at a few rooms. <br />We also had the room service for dinner as we decided we were too tired to go out as we had planned. The portions were medium in size but the quality was great. We also had the pepper icecream, banana and toffee icecreams and Belgian choc icecreams which were just lovely.<br />The only downside was that I was told the romantic turndown would include candles (whether lit or unlit) but there were none....only floral petals on the bed with a pair of swans created from towels...

Hotel fine but bed had a wire at the perimeter of the mattress which was exposed and I hurt my leg on it. Reported it and they apologised but you really don't expect the bed to bite you!

Very easy to find very close to all...
Very easy to find, very close to all shopping areas and tubes. Beautiful hotel, clean and excellent customer service. Have stayed here before and will be staying again!

hotel were unaware of the 'deal' we had...
hotel were unaware of the 'deal' we had booked though late rooms. i.e complimentttery french champagne, 1 afternoon tea and late check out. however they did agree to our late check out. staff very friendly and hotel in good mayfair location but rooms cluttered and old fashioned furniture. not good if you are looking for clean lines.

First rate hotel and well paying that bit extra. Only down side was that the double bed was tiny. I suspect that if you book on a weekend package you are allocated a smaller room
