We spent two wonderful nights in this superb Mayfair hotel. The staff gave superbservice with attention to detail first class.

A very friendly hotel well decorated and furnished...
A very friendly hotel, well decorated and furnished, with excellent food. it is ideally located within a short walking distance of theatreland, Buckingham Palace Hyde Park, Regents Street and many other attractions.

We had a lovely time at the hotel...
We had a lovely time at the hotel. Room was not huge but everything worked and was spotlessly clean. Staff were freindly and welcoming. Food was excellent. It was not cheap but you only get what you pay for in life.

This is the second time we have stayed...
This is the second time we have stayed at The Chesterfield, the hotel has a special charm and grandeur about it, if you are expecting ultra modern then this is not the hotel for you. From Eric the doorman to the staff behind reception they remembered us from our last visit which made our weekend extra special. We stayed for Valentines weekend, champagne was in our room when we arrived, and we had a bonus of an afternoon tea which was included in the cost. The little extras we foundThe food was exceptional and the restaurant staff was helpful and efficient. The location of this hotel was excellent especially if you are going to the West End to see a show.

A very good hotel that I first stayed...
A very good hotel that I first stayed in a few years ago has just got better. There is a warmth and friendliness in addition to excellence about the hotel staff which I have not experienced in other London hotels at any price. This was a weekend break for 2 inclusive of breakfast, champagne and afternoon tea, plus a late check out on the last day. Excellent value and for good measure we were checked into a Suite for the price of a standard room.

I had been given a voucher for a...
I had been given a voucher for a dinner dnce at The Ritz, so we thought we'd make a weekend of it! Gowns were lovely, we have since purchased 2! Room very small, but clean. Decor needs attention. Staff friendly, but not that efficient with some requests. We had to ask 3 times for the champagne. We were promised a call to confirm the time for our afernoon tea, but it never came, so we missed out on the time we requested. Afternoon tea was nice. Bar prices very expensive; £12 for a cocktail. Breakfast not that special. Have since seen better prices on Laterooms for the same offer. It was still very nice to stay in a Mayfair hotel and would goagain and recommend it all the time to friends.

Excellent hotel and wonderful service. Staff couldn't have been more helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The Pianist in The Terrace Bar throughout the evening gives that special touch. Would stay again.

The hotel had a lovely warm atmosphere, and very good central location. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Bar food was served cold, another meal was served which was of good quality, however, it was late in the evening and could have done without the 20 minute wait for second serving. The room was very clean, although the bathroom was a bit on the small side.

Interesting and unusual decor but clean and very helpful staff. The room was a little on the small side but what do you expect for central London... The special Late Rooms price made it worthwhile. Why do they put an extra £1 on the bill for charity???
