Excellent and convenient stay opposite kings cross station. Will definitely use again
Summary
Customer service (person on check-in desk) was excellent. Clean room, comfy bed, all amenities you would need for an overnight stay. Shared bathroom clean. Only downsides: 1. the hardfloors, which created unwanted noise (if you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs); 2. I wasn't entirely sure about the security of the room - the lock on the door seemed a bit slack. I only needed a bed for the night after travelling down to London for a gig - I probably wouldn't stay here for a longer London break.
Summary
The room was very clean, with new furnishings and bedding.
The bathroom was efficient and clean, but probably the smallest I have ever seen.
Breakfast was efficiently served and the quality of food was ok, but tables are shared, which will not suit everyone.
I was kept awake until 430 in the morning with a party going on next door. I contacted the hotel after the weekend to inform the of the event and was told that it had nothing to do with them as it was next door.
Summary
Simple clean accomodation. Good breakfast. Friendly staff

We stayed here on the basis of comments in Tripadvisor. It was much as those comments said - very central and so conveniently placed for the railway stations - that was our main reason for choosing it. The staff were really friendly and helpful - I needed some eye drops to be kept cool in a fridge, and as there is no fridge in the room they allowed me access to the food fridge in the basement. Our room was small - but that wasn't a problem as we were only in it for sleeping. And the room was just a bit on the tacky side - maybe I'm now used to a touch more luxury! But overall a good value and convenient B&B hotel.

What do you expect for peanuts in central London???
Clean and tidy fair condition and reasonably comfy...
What more do you need for a reasonable room rate.
If you want 5 starts go elsewhere :-)
I stayed for 3 nights. I got upgraded from a single en-suite to a double en-suite and had a comfortable room on the 3rd floor. Good clean room with a decent bed and shower worked fine.
Wi-fi was useful if a little slow (but it was free!).
Breakfast was a real surprise. Full English and very well cooked - not something you can say for many hotels at this price.
Good place to stay particularly for Eurostar.
Summary
Absolutely fantastic! Was down in London with a mate at the Guardian Open Weekend and needed a cheap and local place to stay. After finding the Central on Laterooms I was a bit skeptical given it had a few dodgy reviews, and the fact it had shared facilities, but money restraints forced us to book it. And thank God we did! After arriving at the Central an exceptionally friendly American/Canadian (not too sure lol) man checked us in and notified us that we would be staying in their sister hotel, the Fairway, which as literally spitting distance opposite. We were a little worried about the change until he told us that the Fairway was in the process of renovation, and as such now held a 3 star rating...CHA CHING! We made our way down to our room (31 or 33 I think, can't really remember) which was actually on the other side of a tiny courtyard from the other lower level rooms. That was another stroke of luck as the 'shared' facilities were on our side...can honestly say we didn't encounter another guest using them once in a four day stay- great. The room itself was lovely, all pristine and standardised looking just like a chain hotel. Beds were comfy, TV not too small, oh and yeah great free wifi- pretty quick and not difficult to connect to, had no problem streaming movies at night! Shower was very powerful and neither of us experienced any loss in pressure. Last was the included breakfast...to sum up I'd say quality bit not quantity. We got a cup of tea/coffee, a couple of pieces of toast and butter/jam, and then a cooked breaky- one sausage, one (or maybe two:S) pieces of bacon, handful of baked beans and a dollop of scrambled egg. I'm a pretty big guy so while it tasted as nice as you'd hope it didn't really hit the spot- the guy I was with is a good deal smaller and he said it was perfect so maybe its just me.
All in all we had a incredibly good stay for the price, still can't believe we paid £175 for a twin room for 3 nights literally in the middle of London. I can't comment on the Central as we were moved but the Fairway was top notch!
Due to a messup with my Travelodge booking (my fault, so they say) I needed to find a London hotel at short notice. The fairway/central are basic but very pleasant. My room was en suite, with a shower and a comfortable bed.
The breakfast (which I didn't realise was included - so a pleasant surprise) was very nice, and they were happy to cater for me as a vegetarian.
Very good value and good quality.
Hotels either side of street, compact room, with ensuite room facilities, clean and tidy, good breakfast, close to Euston Road, so plenty to see within walking distance, Friendly staff, usual extras supplied. Booked online as never stayed in central London before, but wanted to be rested for the next day, and had a good nights sleep and cooked breakfast. Would use again next time.

Summary
Good value for money, stayed in a single no frills room which was clean and tidy. Didnt have the breakfast as I had to go to a meeting but cant fault this place at all.
Summary
Very good location, walking distance from Euston and Kings Cross stations. The rooms were very clean and recently decorated. Reasonably priced and we would definitely stop here again!
Summary
Pleasant reception staff.Room nothing like website pictures.Basement room, recently repainted-paint still wet and smelled strongly of paint fumes, could not leave window open as it was a large full height window opening into small yard with access to other rooms.Bedding was clean but mattress uncomfortable.Shared toilet and shower was small ,cold and the toilet appeared to be leaking into the mat outside the shower.Did not feel inclined to try shower and kept shoes on!Breakfast was good but we were forgotten by staff and had to go to kitchen twice to ask for food.Kitchen staff a little abrupt and due to a lack of english lots of mistakes with orders including forgetting our order completely.
Decorators working throughout the hotel so a little untidy at time of visit and unfortunately some noisy guests during the night.
If this had not been a late discounted booking I would not have been happy at all and feel the accommodation suited to a budget overnight stay not a holiday of any description

Lication is great but toilet is not clean enough
Summary
The room was a little basic and shared shower / toilet, but excellent value for the money, very clean and tidy.
A cooked breakfast was a susprise and friendly staff.
Handy for Kings Cross / St Pancras and walking distance to many attractions.
The place was extremely dirty and run down. I would never recommend this hotel and will probably never use laterooms either. £55 is not exactly cheap for a night.
Summary
The hotel is well located (subway, bus, restaurants), The staff was nice. The breakfast was fine. As for the room, we were staying in a twin room, there was nothing wrong about it but the walls are really thin so that you might be a bit troubled by the noise.
Summary
The room was all right, just that the window didn´t close properly so it was a bit noisy. Same thing with having the room next to the toilet, toilet fan being a bit noisy. The room was clean enough and I think this hotel is ok for the London prices and being so close to Euston, Kings cross and Saint Pancras station.
Summary
First time booking on Late Rooms and a little apprehensive. Overall impression was one of perfectly happy with service and facilities. At £40 per night in London, you have to accept that you re not staying in 5* accommodation and with that in mind, I have no complaints. Final and personal note, receptionist was v friendly and helpful.

A simple clean pleasent room to get my head down for the night. For just under £50 was worth it.
Summary
On arrival we were told we were staying at fairway hotel across the road the room was nice and clean the toilet and shower together was a bit cramped and at breakfast time the breakfast was a bit small apart from that it was a lovely room not far from kings cross and st pancras and i would stay there again
Summary
Its not the Ritzs, but ur not paying for that u get what u pay for! The room was just brill, small but perfect. The staff were very helpfully even 4 the smallest things. Would recommend it if just staying 4 the weekend shopping or something. I'll def stay again 5 stars !!
Summary
The saddest thing about this review is the fact that the staff were lovely and helpful, but it does not alter the fact that the rooms are so small not even the size of an average bathroom. If you were paying the price that they advertise then it would be a disgusting. We could never stay here ever again
Summary
Concerns:
Hot water to appliances exceeds the recommended temperatures. As a precaution there should be notices : "Caution very hot water" or Blending valves to control the water temperature to 43 degrees at all basin outlets and 48 degrees for baths. Showers should be of the thermostatic mixing type.
Exit
One of the exits had rubbish bags about 6 plus boxes left in front of the emergency exit door. This was one of the routes from the basement rooms of which I stayed in
Awful!

I've stayed before and would stay again. A brilliant location and the service is top class. The single rooms are small yet clean and fresh. The English breakfast is a bonus and the American receptionist was personable and good looking (my mum and I both agreed on that one). He treated my mother exceptionally well. Top marks to the Central hotel.
Summary
As in my last review - this B&B/Hotel is great for what it is - clean and functional rooms, good breakfast and super convenient for St Pancras and the Eurostar (Also Euston)
Summary
The staff was very helpful. Room was small but tidy. Good room for a reasonable price for a lone traveller. I would be less likely to stay in this room with my wife on a holiday.
Summary
Had a work event in London and decided to stop over rather than commute back into London the following morning. Central had good reviews where other similarly priced offerings had awful reports. Central is a budget establishment for a stop over, anything more than a night or two, you'd want to stay somewhere else but for the Kings Cross area this is a decent value, budget option.
Summary
Friendly welcome, clean and comfortable and brilliant for an early morning getaway on EuroStar - which was the purpose of my stay.
