Castleton Hotel out of 5 Customer Rating

Great location, nice food, and value for money. However the bathroom (which was more like a pod) was very small and uncomfortable. My partner being tall did not even fit in the bathroom properly.

Not the hotel we thought

I believe the room is little for a couple, we haven\'t got enough space just only to move around the bed. We didn\'t know where leave our luggages. The bathroom is too little too. But the location is perfect, near the tube and the service nice. The breakfast a little dismal

Da Vinci Day Out

The hotel staff were in the main very friendly and very, very helpful.
The room was compact and clean. However, I would not stay at this hotel for more than 2 days; the room was just too claustrophobic.

Good location but very small rooms

The hotel is very close to the train station which is convenient but my room was very small and very basic- I would recommend the hotel for one night not more...

Castleton Hotel

The hotel was well situated with good access to the underground. We were going to a show and the hotel was good for that. The breakfast was excellent.

Value for money and then some

£58 for a single, ensuite about 100 yards from Paddington station... It was clean, reasonably well appointed and ideal for a bed to crash in after a night out. Tiny bathroom but all new so no complaints.

Good value for money and great location

We enjoyed our stay and are planning to visit again in the near future. There are good connections to the tube and a variety of places to eat. The hotel is well maintained and the breakfast was very good.

Fine for an overnight or weekend stay

Room was small and clean, ensuite shower 'pod' very small but looked new, very clean and all worked well. The bed was a good size, firm and comfortable, the only drawback for us was having a bedside lamp on one side only. Room was on fourth floor but there is a lift and although our window faced the street it wasn't noisy enough to disturb us. Short walk from Paddington tube exit on Praed St and plenty of restaurants nearby. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was a buffet - cereal and a basic full English selection - and we were offered plenty of tea/coffee and toast. Price seemed very reasonable for central London, especially with the breakfast included. We would be happy to stay again.

Not bad

Well, room was neat and tidy. However, it was in some half-floor and close to A/C, so there was some noise. The most irritating was that it was some very wizzing sound, played at regular intervals, even during the night...It was fine so-so as I was interested at closeness to paddington and having a bed.

Good value for money

A recently refurbished clean hotel. Good situation near Paddington station, very friendly helpful staff. Room small but clean and comfortable beds and good towels. Breakfast was good and again staff was very friendly and helpful.
Very good value for money, would definitely go back.
