The Ceasar Hotel

The Ceasar Hotel has a good location. Only a short walk to Paddington Station, Hyde Park and Lancaster Gate Underground Station. We found the hotel with relative ease. Check-in was simple with no waiting time. They confirmed our reservation with correct room details, and after a small amount of difficulty with the key card door system after the clocks had changed we were in our room.
The room was small but clean and tidy. It was clear that the hotel had recently been refurbished. However we were dissapointed to see that 2 single beds had been pushed together and sold as an executive double room. Also the shower was no and very clean and presentable but the bathroom flooded when we used it as the drain was very slow.
We also noticed that the hotel was have some building work carried out which we had not been informed about as the banging and drilling started at 0900am.
We choose to eat and drink outside the hotel, there a many places about a 20 minutes walk from the hotel, so this meant that we didn't see the hotel restaurant, taste the food or experience the service.
We paid about £300 pounds the stay over a Sunday and a Monday night which was quiet expensive and this didn't even include breakfast.

Boutique hotel, with excellent service

Check was easy and very friendly, room was small, however adequate, clean and all that needed. The bath cover was damaged and the tv didnt work properly, however no big deal. We had a drink in the bar, again very good service and then moved into the restaturant, food was ok nothing special, apart from the popcorn cheesecake...Divine!..Easy checkout and when I advised the problems with the room, they dealt with them very well..Would def stay again and would recommend. Easy access for Hyde Park, Notting Hill..and all bus and tube connections.

Smokey Room

The room obviously had a smoker in it which for a non smoker degrades ones stay enormously! Yuk.
The room was on the small side however the fit out was very good and modern. Smoke on bed linen and the walls really kills it! Would stay again but clarify Non Smoking!

Perfectly Good

Well located for fast access to Paddington Station. Clean and staff (Spanish and French) were friendly and keen to please. Wine behind bar wasn't great and room could have done with more furniture. For the price and for the night it was fine.

Contemporary hotel

Convenient, clean, quiet location. Everything worked. Slight problem with the door to the bathroom being too short, and the room was 'compact' - perfectly acceptable for one on business, but wouldn't have wanted to spend much time their on leisure with another person....

Good VFM/ Poor checkin

Arrived late in the evening after a long journey. Not for the first time with a Paddington hotel, they could not find a reservation for me, and it took around 15 mins to sort out.
For once, they did actually have accommodation and I wasn't bussed elsewhere. When I did get to my room, it was very clean, quiet and a reasonable size for the price. One hour's free internet was a nice touch. Pity about the checkin problem, but otherwise perfectly fine and very good value for money.

Lovely Hotel

I spend two nights at the Ceasar Hotel as I was on a weekend trip in London. The Hotel was conveniently close to Paddington station. My first impressions of the hotel were that it was very clean and trendy. The staff were polite and very helpful. The room was was perfect albeit quite small. This wasn't an issue though. I had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay there and would recommend it to anyone thinking of going to London.

Excellent contemporary hotel that provided a wonderful stay.

A very beautiful environment with creative aesthetic feautures. The staff were very helpful . The location is great too. The Caesar is one of the best Hotels that I have ever stayed at in London. The contemporary features are indeed fabulous. The only limitation was that the single room is very small but cosy. I certainly would recommend it to others.

I'll be back...

I was working and needed to be close to Kensington Gardens and with everything else in the area booked (or with a bad review) I took my chance with the Caesar. My room on the 4th floor was small, with a double bed but spotlessly clean, contemporary and very comfortable. I could open the windows whilst lying in bed(!) but at least they could be opened unlike some hotels. The one hour of free wifi internet was a God send - just enough time to download the day's emails and the 'free' printing facility from the reception computers also a fantastic benefit. I spent little time actually in the hotel but the reception staff were extremely polite and welcoming. Although I didn't use any other facilities, the bar certainly looked inviting. Overall, if you paid the full rate for this room (approx £129 I think) you might feel a bit cheated on size but with the late booking discount it was certainly worth every penny. I would definitely book again.

Great hotel, quiet location

I've stayed here a few times. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are on the whole a good size, clean and functional. I have had one room which was a little on the small side. All the rooms I've had have been quiet, it's in a quiet part of London, which is great. Good buffet breakfast and generally a nice place to stay.

Comfortable

The 1st moment I entered the premises, I have this feeling that this place have is a comfy palce to sleep. As i was having a major jet lag, whats in my mind was to catch up with my sleep. My booking details was dealt within a few minutes by the receptionist and got the key without any hassle. As some other places, looks may deceive you but once you enetered their rooms, i am very satisfied with my room.
I would recommend this to any single travellers adn definitely will come back here for my next business trip.
