OK: Staff fine but whole process needs review

Booked with Laterooms so got a good deal, would not have been happy if paying full price. The room was OK the hotel was OK but the processes not god, they were unable to keep a tab going in the bar so had to mess about paying for each drink seperately,. the checkout took over 30 minutes because computer couldn't cope with printing an invoice; whilst this happened I witnessed other frustrated clients unable to charge parking to their room. Sad that the simple things in process and management have not been addressed. Nonetheless it was fine so will stay there again and be ready for irritations

Good value

Value for money in London was excellent, booked on day but for £59 could not ask for more. Only thing to consider is that located at the Wharf it is not central however 20 minutes Jubilee Line and underground takes you to where you want to go.

Wkd break

Not been to canary wharf area for 15 plus years so was surprised how well it has improved there are 2 to 3 shopping centres with most shops you would wish to visit and restaurants nearby. bit out of the way for centre of london such as covent garden and oxford circus although we did travel in on the sunday and it was easy enough on the tube network. room was quite spacious double bed with dresser and bedside units and flat screen tv, decor a little dated but clean and tidy

Our Stay in London

We arrived at the hotel and received a genuine welcome. The staff were warm and friendly, the service top-rate. The price was incredible for this part of London - it was a steal!

Never Again!!

I wouldn't stay there again if it were free! The underground garage was a dump with no lift service to reception. The bed was hard as were the pillows (Rubber Balls). There was a charge of £4.00 for a swim so I went without on principle. Have stayed in hotels all over the UK and have never had to pay to use leisure centre. Breakfast cold, coffee cold and toast not toasted properly - cold and limp. I booked for 4 nights but left after 2 for better accommodation. My advice, don't stay there.

I stay here a lot because it is reliably a good hotel. Nothing too fancy, but stuff will work and everything will be clean. I know what I'll get when I book and that's good.
