Summary
A perfectly nice hotel to stay in. Pleasant helpful staff. The hotel and room were fine, the only negative comment I would make is the shower tray sealant had a lot of black mould on it which was a bit off putting but everything else was just right.
I ate dinner in the restaurant which was very nice with plenty of choice.
I ate continental breakfast which was just as you would expect anywhere. They have made a lot of effort to give quality and value for money.
I managaed to Park right outside but there are parking restrictions locally until about 6pm if I recall correctly.
Very friendly staff, clean room, very helpful. All that for just over £60.00!!! Close to tube and main road into London :)
Summary
Excellent hotel with friendly staff, good rooms which are well presented and clean. Best value for money in and around London.
Summary
Absolutely fine - no problems. Functional and cost effective. Parking might be tricky but wasnt a problem when I stayed.
Summary
Great hotel we had a good room nice and clean and quiet considering it was located on busy
Road junction
Stayed at the Blue Star for one night and have to say it was an underwhelming experience, although everything was clean the facilities left a lot to be desired.
The room had cramped facilities, the kettle stood somewhere with tea things but no electric socket - there was no beside lamp or clock / the bathroom had a tiny washbasin (the sort you have in a cloakroom) and was a struggle to fill the kettle.
There was no cooked breakfast and I paid £65.00 for the night ... thought it was a rip-off. Not impressed.
Problem with the information received by the hotel from Laterooms saying only booked 1 adult and 1 child when should have been 2 adults and 1 child. Hotel dealt swiftly with problem, moved us to bigger room and put in the extra bed. Great Service
Summary
The hotal was basic but adequate for one night. The bedroom was very small and the bed certainly not the king size referred to on the booking. Bathroom was clean if basic. The bedroom less so although a cleaner did come round to hoover the mess that has clearly been left fitting a doorstop. Breakfast was basis self service.
Summary
Nice hotel for the price. Only downside is its a bit far from the tube station, but theres a pub on the way!

It was a pleasure to be there - perfect relationship price - room
(i only missed a hairdryer) and an excellent restaurant ! Greetings from austria
Excellent value for money, very helpful staff
Summary
The accommodation was adequate for an overnight stay at a very reasonable price for London. The room was a good size with a good ensuite. Our only complaint was black mould around the bottom of the shower tray. I would not have thought that this would be difficult to rectify and if that was done the room would have been almost perfect. The buffet breakfast was very basic but that suited us because we were going out for Sunday lunch later. We did not expect waiter service and a full English for the price we were paying. Transport links were good. We were visiting our son near Shepherds Bush Green and the bus service was good enough for us not to use the car.
Summary
Paid £67 for a twin room would have happily paid move! Plus there's worse places in London than Acton to have a beer!
Summary
Wasn't to sure about booking here but have to say I was pleasantly surprised, the room was clean with plenty of room, bathroom was also clean, all linen and towels were like new. Nice touch to have fridge in room. Parking was my main concern but didn't have any trouble finding somewhere. Only one slight negative is the room was quite warm, (without any heating on) not so bad as we are in Oct but think it maybe unbearable in summer?i
Summary
If you want inexpensive, clean and adequate base for a weekend in the capital, you could do worse than The Blue Star. The staff are polite and reasonably helpful but our room was pretty basic. Very limited storage and hanging space and only the bed to sit on. A good shower but the loo flush needed constant attention. Could do with fresh paint and a decent handyman about the place. Chinese restaurant downstairs but sadly no full English available of a morning.
Summary
Situated about 10mins from tube station, very easy to get back to if coming out of theatres near Victoria. Large supermarket next door to stock up on snacks for the day. Clean room a bit small, breakfast a bit basic but otherwise good value and a very nice stay.
Summary
We were booked this hotel for the May last long weekend, as we were travelling from the bradford and had some personnel work we arrived at 9 am but the staff was good although the room was not clean(which was not their fault as we were very early!) still they allowed as to keep our baggarge which I appreciate.
Don't know about food as that time the resautrant was temporarily out of service.
The only concern was that the rooms are small although they arrage nice bed for my son but I think that's how it is in London with this price.
This hotel offered great value for money. The room was spacious, the bathroom was lovely. It had good access to a nearby tube station. The breakfast was of a good standard, only my son ate but that is because me and my partner are not breakfast people. We were upgraded to the deluxe room without asking, but if this is anything to go by the other rooms would have been good to. The staff were friendly and helped with finding somewhere safe to park. All in all very good
Summary
Found the Blue Star easy to find and very convenient for my needs. Restaurant is now closed but their are options close by so this was not a problem for me. Very clean and well presented hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Curtains could have been larger and heavier to block the lighting outside.
Summary
Hi,
It was a good experience, The bed should be big enough for the couple with a kid or there should be some alternate for it.
The service was good.
Thanks
