This was the best priced hotel in that location (near Baker street station). The staff was excellent, room was clean, beds comfy, near restaurants, sights, and a most of the underground stops go through the Baker station. This is my second time visiting London and staying in that hotel and I would stay there again!

I selected the Blandford as I was visiting London for some professional exams and wanted a quiet spot to stay. It's on a lovely quiet street very handy to Baker St tube. An excellent price for the room. The room itself was pretty cosy - with barely room to move between the 3/4 bed and the table, but it had everything you need (TV, air con, en suite). The toilet seat was a bit broken, but everything was clean and well presented. A nice simple breakfast included was a bonus and the staff were very courteous. Would definately recommend to anyone wanting to stay in London who's watching their budget.

An earlier breakfast on the Sunday of our stay would have been nice. My daughter was running in the London marathon and needed to be out of the hotel by 7.30am. We were told by reception staff it would be alright to go to the dining room at 7am as staff arrived at 6.30. This however was not the case and when we arrived at tam we were not made welcome and had to wait sometime before we went in and helped ourselves to buns and a drink.

Hotel is quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was cooked perfectly and infact it was the nicest bacon ive ever had at a hotel or restaurant! Great stay.

Hotel was clean and tidy and breakfast very good. Disappointed with the size of the room which was very small with nowhere handy to place you suitcase and the bathroom was minute with a sliding door that didn't close properly. However, excellent location when travelling to / from marylebone and Baker st. station only 2 minutes away giving easy access to everything in central london.

Hotel very friendly, let me check in early. Couldn'thave been better located with a car park next door and main tube just at the bottom of the road. The hotel was very clean and warm and the lift was a great benefit being on the 3rd floor. Would definitely stay again.

We booked a twin bedroom, and can say that for one night it was OK, but had we been staying longer the size of the room would have been far too small. Also there was no hot water in the morning for a shower. The breakfast buffet was excellent and service within the breakfast room very good. Overall in terms of the price and location for London, I will be using the Hotel again.

Small friendly hotel in a convenient location.
Room rather cramped and draughty -(fire escape door right next to bed !) Outlook dingy and no information available e.g. no 'welcome pack'. Only time we have ever stayed in a hotel without the useful 'bumpf' to read. Room not very comfortable - lacking space for easy chair and table. No biscuits !
Breakfast OK - buffet style but with good service as well. Somewhat limited range of food available and no fresh fruit.
I had originally booked this hotel for nights...
I had originally booked this hotel for 2 nights for a suprise for the wife, we were on the 4th floor with our window overlooking the BT Tower, this floor is still under redevopment but the room we were in there was a double bed & a single bed, because we visited the theatre on the 1st night & was out all day the next day, we only really wanted it to lay our heads at night & for somewhere to have a wash & brush up, it is in a nice quiet spot on Chiltern street opposite the Baker Street underground & a short walk to Madame Tussauds which everybody must visit while in London, the breakfasts were excellent, you had a choice of English or continental, there were a mixture of cereals, drinks were Tea, coffee & fresh orange, the lift was a bit small & claustrophobic, but i wiil probably book for a short stay again in the near future as it is ideal for the tube & the sights & for London prices was not bad for 2 nights B&B.

I stayed here in June and found it dreary. This in itself isn't a big complaint, but there were other problems that were really intolerable--the bed and sheets smelled musty and old, and housekeeping used a vile spray to try to cover it up. Also, I did not find this place to be quiet at all. The fire doors in the hall slammed throughout the night, and I could only get some sleep with the aid of earplugs.

I would not go back to this hotel Mainly due to one person called 'Alì' who was most unhelpful and quite offensive. He made me out to be a liar when I asked what time the bus for the airport would arrive in the morning. Said it didn't exist. He is really an obnoxious person and has no people skills and should not be in this position. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful and it was unfortunate that I had this person on the last night. I had a plane to catch the next day and so could not sleep as I had no wake up call!!
