booked a twin room but were given a...
booked a twin room but were given a triple room - unfortunately it was a tight squeeze - and on the ground floor with a non-view.....but good facilities.....fab bathroom / shower. breakfast was good. staff were excellent - very welcoming, quick response to our inability to get the tv on too, and helpful with queries about the tube.

When I arrived I was told that I was being given a free upgrade from a single room to an Executive Double. The room was a good size with a large ensuite. The room itself was quiet and I got a good sleep each night. The breakfast too was good, with plenty available and a good choice. I had a pleasant stay and would choose to stay again.Some quibbles though: the shower didn't work properly on the first morning. I notified reception and someone came promptly but couldn't get it to work. That's the last I heard. The shower still didn't work for the other 2 days of my stay. As an extra, I found an empty crisp packet in one of the drawers.The TV included Sky News, Sports 1, 2 and 3 which had a good picture. The 6 other channels gave a poor picture. I didn't use WiFi but my own mobile broadband for which I got a very good reception.

Nice and classy place Good customer service Menu...
Nice and classy place. Good customer service. Menu is limited but fine for one night. Main room is quite busy outside but bearable.

The hotel is well located for central London...
The hotel is well located for central London and yet in a relatively quiet location. For a 4* double room the room was small and a little 'tired'. Only half of the available TV channels worked and their was no wireless internet connection. I was offered a wired connection but for an hourly fee. It was cheaper to walk round the corner to Starbucks. No excuse for not having free wireless internet in 2010.

Hotel a little dated great location re Baker...
Hotel a little dated, great location re Baker St., staff friendly and attentive. Stayed one night in double room which was fair size for London and would stay there again.

Very friendly and helpful staff but wi fi...
Very friendly and helpful staff but wi fi internet access was very poor. Breakfast was good and all staff pleasant. Ensuite very cramped and with sliding door pretty useless. Room very tired and bed linen well past its sell by date.

Lovely greeting, arrived very early and they immediately cleaned my room as soon as the previous guest had checked out to accommodate me. Very polite and friendly staff, room very incredibly small, but bed was very comfortable, shower room lovely and clean and lets face it, you don't stay in London in order to spend your time in a hotel room!Location was incredibly close to Baker Street tube station, well worth the money and would definitely use them again.

The rooms were miniscule and although the staff were friendly and the beds comfortable, I feel misled by the description of this as a 4 star hotel. It was certainly not in the same category as many of the hotels listed as such by late rooms. breakfast was good.

The hotel was of high quality in decor...
The hotel was of high quality in decor and cleanliness. The staff helpful. The charges for broadband not excessive (£2.50/ 1 hour). The street was pretty quiet at night (for London) and only round the corner from busier ones so easy to pick up a taxi. The steps at the front could have done with a handrail.
