Weekend Away

The hotel was smart, very clean and the staff were friendly. Its situated on a nice quiet street yet is only 2 minutes walk from Earls Court tube station. The room was excellently furnished if a little small, but was comfortable and well equiped. It is reasonable value for money given its in a good area of London and I would thoroughly recommend staying here to anyone. Thanks for a relaxing stay

Take care about what you pay for!

Tiny room, but clean and comfortable. Friendly staff.
No bowls available at breakfast for cereal, and no glasses available for juice. Cooked breakfast wasn't the best, and not worth the extra cost.
On checking out, the front desk tried to charge me for a phone call I had not made - I had not used the phone in my room at all.

Good quality but limited space

I had a 4th floor room so plenty of stairs or there is a small lift. The hotel seems to have been tastlefully refurbished throughout, nothing jazzy just creams and beiges, nice and calm, an exellent choice. The room was compact but for a single occupoancy working stay it was ideal. A double bed with one side against the wall, the room would be a bit crampped for two but just about manageable. No different to other hotels converted from town houses in London. The bathroom was compact but again tastefully done. The one thing which they have wrong which is the only reason my scores have dipped from the high end was the toilet. Sorry but I work in construction and there is no excuse for installing a pristine brand new suit if the toilet bowl is so close to the wall your knees are squashed against the tiles and the towel rail is in your face! Should have turned it through 90 degrees or fitted a high level cistern, sorry but a fact in reality however the only gripe I have which didn't spoil my night. They should have sorted that with the developers though cos that referb job would not be cheap. The flat screen telly is not on a swivel bracket so you cannot lie in bed to watch telly, possibly a big deal to some but to make up for it all the room was air conditioned, fantastic as not advertised.
A lovely small room and unless taller than me 6 ft then the wc thing will not be too much trouble. Situated in a quiet street off nice vibrant area at the tube station, about 150m from it.
At £85 you could pay more for less in London as I have often been caught!
Didn't do breakfast so cannot rate.

Business seminar

The staff were incredibly helpful and upgraded our room and added complimentary breakfast because the original room booked was not available. It was such a shame to find the shower holder was broke making it impossible to have a shower. Would still stay again.

Small, but clean refurbushed & comfortable

Room was small, however refurbished , flat screen TV - modern & clean shower room, free wi-fi & surprisingly comfortable single bed. Stayed for 2 nights on business & would stay again if price was under £100 per night.

This is a first class hotel in a good situation. Very comfortable bedrooms. The only proviso would be the indifferent quality of the breakfast. Tea not made with boiling water and coffee left to stand on a hot plate. Perhaps we were unlucky! We would certainly use it again. nonetheless.

Room size

I was upgraded to a double from a single I can only think the single was a box!! anyone needing to get out of bed would have to climb over the other person if a couple stayed in it. the bed was wall to wall at the top and bottom and one side. The window was obscure glass. One night was enough, a couple would find it very small.
Didn't have breakfast ,it was £10 and they don't serve bacon (this is not an english breakfast) Would not stay there again

Excellent room

My room was on the lower ground floor and that floor is a bit of a maze. There was a exterior light outside my bedroom window, but the curtains were dense enough to block it out. The room was clean, and the bed comfortable. There was no external noise to disturb me. I had an excellent night's sleep. The staff were extremely helpful. In all it was excellent value for money.

Nice but tiny

Stayed for 1 mid week night on early Nov. check in was difficult as the hotel had my name taken down incorrectly, but booked in thru reservation number. I was on the top floor, the room was a single, and was absolutely tiny, hardly any room to squeeze around the bed, which was way too soft for my liking. it was a warm evening so the room was hot, and the air-con did nothing to change the temperature. the room was modern and nicely fitted out, with a good TV, the shower was small with the temperature and pressure variable.
there is no bar, and I didn't stay for breakfast.
I didn't feel it was worth the price, and I didn't get a particularly good nights sleep.
would I stay there again? Yes, but only if I couldn't find anything else, and there are a lot of hotels around that area.
I booked in late for this stay,

The quality of the room was great. It was just really small and had no wifi connection or much signal for your phone. Other than that it was good for the discounted rate.

Our two night stay

Staff particularly friendly, they reacted to a special birthday we were celebrating in London by providing a card and chocolate - a nice thoughtful touch - well done! Clean and modernised accommadation suitable for a business over nighter too should it be required.

Would stay again

As mentioned by other visitors the rooms are small but modern and fresh and wi-fi is free. I only needed somewhere to sleep, work and shower so this was ideal. Only 2 minutes walk from the tube but the street was fairly quiet. The only disturbance I had was from the people in the room next door who were in and out from 5am and not being too quiet about it. Also, had a little trouble getting the ironing board to stay up but managed in the end. I'd be happy to stay here again.
