Best Western Premier Shaftesbury Hotel Reviews

The room was smaller than I had anticipated. Having looked again at the pics of the rooms I still feel they are somewhat misleading. Room basically clean but certainly not sparkling in fact the net curtain in the room was grey to say the best. The staff barely looked at us upon arrival and whilst dealing with us which I found quite rude. We had not booked breakfast and were not offered the option of booking any upon arrival - so we didn't give them our money and ate elsewhere. The location for theatres, soho and chinatown was excellent. Wouldn't stay here again unless the offer was MUCH better.

Air conditioning not working due to problem at hotel, but we were informed beforehand. Shower not very good. Excellent location. Staff very friendly and efficient.

The room had a great bed, free internet access, complimentary paper, fruit and water, a good TV with all freeview channels and a decent shower with heated mirror over the sink (a boon for shaving). The location is superb being right next to Soho, Chinatown and minutes from Leicester Square. Easy reach of Regent Street. Room was quiet given the location and value for money only due to serious discount through laterooms. Down sides: cramped room and not much by other facilities.

We stayed over at this hotel while taking in a show, the location was spot on, although a little noisy, but you do have to remember you are in central London (on a Friday night).
Hotel was better than expected as I had read previous reviews, staff are very helpul and friendly and the room itself was luxurious, I was a little worried after reading recent reviews but these were totally unfounded and we would definetly stay there again.Thanks to Late Rooms we had a wonderful hotel in a great location at a fraction of the price.

Decent hotel, nice upgraded room (for our 40th wedding anniversary). Had ordered chocolates and flowers for room as surprise for wife - unfortunately, the receptionist announced this to us all when I paid bill on arrival so surprise lost. Also stated breakfast was not included when I had paid for it - apologised when I showed booking details.

Great location , was on first floor directly above a shop selling tourist tat that had a loud boombox going all day , ruined the afternoon nap.
Apart from that great room and nice en suite bathroom.
Had the bits that other 4 star hotels often miss... Dressing gowns, slippers and a good selection of tea and coffee including hot chocolate sachets

Room was very small. There was not enough room to pull the chair out from the desk unless the bed was sung around. Air con did not work and I was in 404 which had a restaurant party room next door to it and the noise was incrediable. Its the best location for the west end but there is little attention to detail given. Staff only just went through the motions.

Checking in and out was straight out of Fawlty towers. A single person was checking me in at the same time as dealing with someone else on the telephone whose room had not been booked properly, taking a room service order on another telephone and talking to another member of staff about some other issue. Chaotic! I did not feel welcome and had no confidence in the check-in process due to the excessive multi-tasking. The rooms are tired. Good value and location though, through LateRooms.

Very good hotel in the hart of the West end.the room was very nice tidy and clean. Breakfast was megga one of the best we have ever had while staying in a hotel
