Thank you

A very pleasant stay - we had with us our 15 month-old daughter, who was taken care of at every stage. Just worth mentioning that there are several steps to the entrance and the lifts, nothing serious if you're a couple with children, but more challenging if you're on your own with a buggy.

Nice quiet room in a good area

Compact room but very clean and nice. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Expensive for size and facilities of the room but the same goes for most London hotels and this one is in an excellent location - quiet at night and just a two minute walk from shops, resturantes and Bayswater tube station.

Clean room with comfortable beds, well laid out and with good shower/bathroom facilities. Breakfast experience wasn't great due to the sheer number of people eating at once which swamped the cramped dining room and seemed to have the serving staff fairly confused. Reception staff were very helpful. A little overpriced but I guess that's London for you!

Lovely location and good hotel

The hotel is perfect for the short stay visitor and is located in a good part of the city. Only one complaint, the room was really warm all of the time even thought the heating wasnt on at all!

Great location

I stayed here on business during Wimbledon because every other hotel was either full or over-priced. The room was small and the walls are thin, but it was fine for one night. The best thing about the hotel is its location - 2 mins walk to the restaurants of Queensway or 10 mins to Notting Hill Gate. And 3 mins walk to Bayswater tube station. Perfect!

Family visit to London, two children aged 13 and 8

Hotel very clean. Nice large room with a double bed and two singles. Bath and a shower which was handy. Beds very comfortable. Good location very close to Notting Hill which is lovely. Lots of places to eat and drink nearby and Whiteleys Shopping Centre right next to hotel. Only complaint is that the breakfast room is very hot, windows did not open and it was very stuffy when it was busy. Apart from that we had an enjoyable stay and would definitely stay here again.

Best Western Phoenix Hotel

I've stayed here on business many times over a number of years. The hotel remains up to its usual standard: friendly, clean, quiet. It's excellently located for business in the west end and west London.

Last option in desperation

We needed to get a hotel but it was very last minute. The client was in Millbank so we had to tube it in and out but it wasn't bad at all. The hotel was well placed and only a slight walk from a buys high street with large brand shops.
it was quiet one night and a but noisier the next. Staff were helpful and breakfast was good if typical. No idea why this hotel was fairly cheap given that almost everything around for miles was fully booked. Worth a go!!!

You getwhat you pay for

Its pretty bad and i cant beleive in 2010 that all rooms are not non smoking. Mine stank and the heating was on full blast when it was mild outside. Crappy place but under £100 one cannot expect much. For one night it was bearable

Very good location in Nothing Hill, 2 mins walk to Hyde Park and Tubes. From there, to every where in the central London area within acceptable times. Lots of restaurants in the area. It's not a super deluxe hotel but value for money it is, specially related to the location.

Good value for London

I had an an overnight stay at the Best Western Phoenix to attend a business meeting in London. I reviewed a number of hotels before deciding on this one and was pleasantly surprised as many hotels in London give good reason to disappoint (often concerning vaue for money!). But, I thought the room was fine, it was clean, warm and had all the essentials. The look-out was non-existant but for one night that didn't matter. Breakfast had a wide choice of buffet items and the waitresses were all nice and polite. The location is pretty good too with good access to the Tubes. So, yes, I would stay here again as I thought, as far as London prices go, it rated decent value for money.

Single room in Phoenix Hotel

The room was OK, but very noisy. The quilt on the bed was torn (holes). The bathroom was very clean and well maintained. I think, for and hotel of this category, that a bottle of plain water and a glass would be apreciable.
Breakfast was OK, classical.
