Good value for money for London, but a newlt refurbished hotel should be pretty tristine, which this was.Dissapointed not able to get a cappuchino at breakfast, did not seem to know what it is??/

Excellent hotel

I have stayed in many hotels in london and this is the best by far for no questions. The staff were excellent, very polite and helpful. The executive room for £100 including breakfast was the best value i have stayed in.There was a 24 hr bar and free internet. The hotel was just quality.I will definately be staying there again for my first choice.

Comfortable 3*, reasonable breakfast

I had a single room, which was small but comfortable, with desk/chair, wifi, good-sized wardrobe and small but well-fitted bathroom (although sink and WC were both positioned directly in front of the mirror/shelf, so not good for the short-sighted applying make-up - you can't get close enough!). There's no restaurant in the hotel, which I hadn't quite noticed, so had to find somewhere nearby to eat - there are an Italian and Lebanese restaurant 5 mins' away, and probably more. Breakfast was continental, plus scrambled eggs, sausages etc. All fine. Staff helpful and friendly. Very well-placed for Paddington and Hyde Park.

Bare necessities

I feel this hotel has all the frills and trims to be a good hotel close to the city centre, with only a few minutes walk away from Lancaster gate station. Also very clean and friendly staff, however I must say I was very dissapointed when it came to something as simple as having a hot shower!! On the first morning I was told that it is due to full occupancy and everyone using it at the same time but I had the same problem at 16:00hrs!!

Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms clean and comfortable although executive room was quite cold on the lower level. Good choice at breakfast but unfortunately food was cold or luke warm at best.

Nice and clean room and excellent breakfast. Only minor comment is the coffee and tea served at breakfast were warm rather than hot. However, I would highly recommend the hotel to other visitors.

High quality pocket-sized hotel

Everything about this hotel is excellent unless you want spacious accommodation: the room was small and the corridors were narrow, but everything was beautiful and the customer service was attentive and friendly. The room was elegant and spotless, though noise insulation not perfect at night. Breakfast very good; location convenient for Lancaster Gate tube and Paddington statsion (though the latter a little far to walk if you have luggage). Wake-up call and 5am taxi both arranged and delivered. At GBP152 p.n., not cheap but probably goof value for London. Highly recommended.

The heat!!!!!!!!!!!!

Air conditioning didnt work in room and it was so unbearably hot, no windows to open, slept no more than 2 hrs.
such a shame as we would have started to use this hotel regurlarly as we come to london monthly. But could not cope with that heat in the room.
