Room clean, staff friendly, breakfast lukewarm. The Best Western Mornington @ Lancaster Gate is one of my favourite budget hotels in central London, it's reliably OK. I wish breakfast was available in HOT, but otherwise you get what you're paying for: clean room, hot water, wi-fi, lounge etc. at a decent price with no pretension. Great overnight stay for my work trips to London.

I thought that the hotel was nicer than I expected, very pleasant room and lovely staff. It made lots of travelling about seem not such a hassle. A nice pub round the corner, a lovely view out the front. I will be staying again. I'd say about 6/10 - 10 being a 5 star beast of a hotel.

The staff were absolutely fantastic and catered for our every need. The reception staff were well informed and proved invaluable when seeking travel advice. The only disappointment was the quality of the cooked breakfast.

I got into the Hotel late, approx. 10:30pm and was told my room was ground floor. The room was bordering between ground floor / basement, not sure whether I was opposite a pub but the noise level was extremely loud, floors in the room were dirty as was the bathroom area.If I had checked in earlier and viewed the room, I would have found a hotel elsewhere.

it was like sleeping on a camp bed. Room was tiny with a dangerous step between the bathroom and bedroom that a less able person could easily trip on causing a nasty accident. Food was good, and staff were friendly.
