We stayed at the Delamere Hotel for one...
We stayed at the Delamere Hotel for one night so that we could visit Camden Lock market. Parking is very limited (2 spaces at the hotel) but as we arrived on a Sunday and the next day was Bank Holiday Monday, we were able to park free opposite the hotel on the main road, and being in Westminster just round the corner from Park Lane and the Mayfair Hotel, the area was quiet and felt very safe. The room was quite small, but very clean, and had everything we needed (although the teabags and milk were in short supply). The bed was very comfortable, and we were in no hurry to leave. There was no bath, but a shower cubicle which served it's purpose perfectly. Camden is just over 2 miles away, and on the way we passed Mme Tussauds and Regents Park, as well as various mainline and underground stations. I would definitely use this hotel again as a base for visiting London in the future, and would reccommend it to others.

I have stayed here twice. Very convenient location (5 mins to Paddington), good staff, good breakfast (continental). Only negative is that the rooms are a little bit small. Apart from that definitely recommend this hotel

The hotel tariff is dependant on the manager...
The hotel tariff is dependant on the manager and the time of year or local event. The tariff shown is between £65 - 149 for a single room. I dread to think what will be charged for the Olympics. The single room does not justify this expense. Not suitable for anyone over 5.10, width of room is 2 metres by 4 metres into which the on suite facilities are fitted. If you are looking for a quiet stay please avoid this location. Rooms do not have double glazing and therefore all traffic noise and party goers are heard throughout the night. Amenities offered in the room are minuscule, be prepared to take your own if you intend to work or stay longer in the room. Breakfast is not included, continental breakfast is £5.00, I preferred to eat out for better value. Vue the room before accepting as although a rear room was requested this was not made available.

I stayed here with my grand daughter and we were pleasantly surprised by the value for money and the courtesy of the staff. The room had just about everything you would need for a short stay and although small, it wasn/t claustrophobic. Shower very 'compact' but perfectly functional. The hotel is quiet, clean, furnished to a good standard, well-run and close to the underground. We didn't have breakfast as this wasn't included in the price but there are plenty of small cafes nearby where you can get something to eat. A very enjoyable stay!

Very clean, comfortable, excellent value for money. I'll stay again. Requested a double bed for single occupancy. Rooms were in the basement and if you listened closely, you could hear the tube underneath, otherwise OK. Limited parking outside. No phone signal in Basement rooms.

I arrived after 10 pm to a very friendly welcome. I booked a single room that was upgraded to a twin. The room was small, but so is the hotel. However, it had everything I needed, including free wireless internet access. Continental breakfast for £5 was good value, although the choice was not extensive. The 2 minutes to Paddington station is a slight exaggeration, but it is very close.

We found the room comfortable and larger than I expected. The bathroom was separate to the bedroom and we liked that. We stayed for 2 nights and there was enough storage space. The staff were very polite and efficient and eager to help. We asked for a quiet room as I know that the traffic can be noisy on Sussex Gdns and we had a back room where we could hear no traffic noise. There was free internet access and they took care of our luggage on the last day. We had 2 minor problems - the room was a little cold on the second morning of our stay as the radiators went off and the shower temperature control was stiff.

I stayed here for one night and it was excellent for a single traveller. The single room was very small but perfectly adequate for one night and the shower room contained a nice powerful hot shower. It was very clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful. The proximity to Paddington (5 mins walk) was great for onward travel plans and the room at the rear of the hotel was lovely and quiet. Will stay here again.

This hotel was excellent value for money - the single room was small but very clean, the en-suite was clean and well-fitted unlike others in budget hotels. The bed was comfortable and I had a really good night's sleep! I didn't have the time to try the food, but the staff were efficient and friendly. Would stay there again... a pity I was there for work really!

If you can put up with small rooms, this is an excellent value. I stayed in a single room for 3 nights, and double room on the 4th night -- I recommend the double, if you are staying for more than 1 or 2 nights, because the single room is a bit small. Otherwise, the hotel is clean, quiet, has an ensuite shower/toilet, and is a 5 minute walk from Paddington Station (with access to Heathrow express, and Circle, District and Hammersmith tube lines).

We only stayed for one night as we were up in London for a concert, whilst the room and the bathroom was a tad small, the staff we very friendly and Iwould reccommend this hotel if you are looking for a stop over in London at a reasonable price

The room was very small a single bed shower room with sink and toilet which was ideal if you wished to wash your left elbow in the sink while you sat on it. London is a nightmare for budget accommodation and this hotel is undoubtedly excellent value. I can recommend it to business travelers and people who know what to expect for the cost. I will stay again no problem.
