Very efficient, helpful, and pleasant staff at reception. I didn't have breakfast, so can't comment on public facilities. Negative: the three times I tried to ring the hotel, I got the answerphone.

Booked late and arrived 2 minutes after booking. Management and staff were very helpful. This is the first place that advertise free Internet that actually had it... would use again.

Couldn't get the wifi to work at all - and the hotel doesn't offer tech support. Room was high up a narrow 3 flights with no lift. Good size room bu bathroom so small you stood in the shower to use the sink. Rooms overlooking street are noisy. Ok for the price if you are fit, hungry and don't need access to the internet.

A real horror of a place. I am loathed to call it a hotel. Tiny room. Shared toilet & shower on the landing. Hot, very cramped & without doubt my worst accomodation in years. Cheap, but so is a hostel, which to be honest would have been just as adequate.

Bit out of the way to centre of London, but close to main train station (Paddington). Room was very small triple and bathroom was in a cupboard (literally) but was clean. Customer service very good and yummy breakfast. Cheap. Ok for overnighter.

Fine for the price range and a late booking but with the smallest bathroom in the world. No recommendation is no reflection.

I suppose I expected some sort of discount for having to suffer a cold shower, but none was offered, hence the poor review.

This hotel is looking tired and in need...
This hotel is looking tired and in need of some updating, with a jumbled layout, creaking floors, blackened ceiling tiles in my bathroom over use of the mastic gun, cracked window pane and ramshackle secondary double glazing. The lighting is utilitarian, with my wife's reading light not working at all. On the plus side the room, even though at the front overlooking the road was unusually quiet for Central London. I was scowled at for helping myself to cereal (as is normal in several other hotels) in the dining area, the orange juice was very low quality, there was no breakfast choice - just 'egg and bacon' in a tone which brooked no asking for alternatives. In short not a good example of what the capital should be capable of.
