The staff are so friendly and helpful, the hostel has everything you need and is in a lovely area, easy acess to the tube and just a short work from kensington gardens which are beautiful! Brilliant kitchen with everything you need and a nice big common room with comfy couches perfect for socialising! A super hostel would reccomend it to everyone excellent value for money!

This is a small walk-up apartment style hotel...
This is a small walk-up apartment style hotel, must be recently renovated as the toilet fittings looked new and the walls in the room were very white and clear.
Plus points - very clean and room is of good size for a London hotel, we had a small balcony-converted area to allow a sofa bed beside a full length window that was secured with chains to prevent opening in full which is great when you have kids fooling around! We feel quite safe here although there was only a lone receptionist as he locked the entrance door after 10.30pm, but you could ring the bell if you go out or come back late. Oh I need to mention the east european chambermaid cum kitchen helper who was very friendly and nice and changed all our towels every day wearing a big smile always.
Minus - the dining room is sooooooo small (beside the reception desk) and we had to stand waiting for our turns to eat every morning, the food was bland - cold hard boiled eggs, bread and butter and even blander coffee. One morning we were waken up by wind blowing in air with odour of burnt bread. Beware of this room 106 whose window is directly above the dining room window! There is no air conditioning so we had to open the window in the warm summer. Further, avoid this hotel if you are bringing huge trunks, there is no elevator and you have to drag your luggage up the narrow stairs.
Location - quite a walk for urban folks like us to Victoria tube station, it's easier to catch a bus across the door to Sloane Tube Station or Victoria Station, we prefer Sloane Station as it is less crowded than Victoria Station.

Very good location, reasonable price. Room was just as described, though ceilings a tad low. Helpful staff. However, duvet cover did have blood on it.
Breakfast was below-par, but almost no noise at night more than made up for this.
Given the price and location though, I would recommend and stay here again.

Pretty street. Single room on the ground floor. Very small but clean, neat and good value at 59 (Laterooms rate). If it had been more than 75 it would have been over-priced. Looks out into the well of the building, so a real sense of being 'under the stairs' but fine for one night. Breakfast more of a hostel set-up. Narrow area of lobby, with self service coffee machine etc. Very friendly staff, which counts for a lot.

Very convenient location to Victoria rail and coach stations. Buses to west end at end of street. Friendly staff and small breakfast room (basic help yourself breakfast included in rate). No lift. 4 floors of rooms up a fairly steep and narrow staircase. Carpet on stairs looked well used and needed cleaning. My supposedly 'executive double' as paid for on this site was the only type of double room the hotel has. It is perfect size for one person. No bath. Foam pillows not very comfortable but mattress was. Small 'bathroom' with shower. No additional toiletries (soap containers on wall) so bring your own lotions/showercaps etc. Safe and tray with hot choclate/milk/biscuits. Very large Plasma tv screen. Room was like a sauna on arrival but you are able to adjust the radiators and open the windows. However the room at the front can be quite noisy when morning traffic gets going. Lovely wine bar 'Ebury wine bar' directly across the street.

We felt very disappointed with this hotel as despite the room being clean and well furnished the position of room 203 on the ground floor was appalling. Unless you want an early alarm call at 07.00 by the clanking of breakfast being prepared directly outside your room and the staff talking at normal volume then this is NOT the hotel for you. There appears to be no kitchen in this hotel so the tiny area outside room 203 with sink and storage cupboards has to be it. Consequently the breakfast is limited to bread, croissants and cereals and hardboiled eggs, set at tiny cafe tables in an area no bigger than 10ft x 10ft. Not the place to go for a romantic stay and a lie-in. It's a shame because the room and en-suite was clean and attention to detail was good. The staff were friendly but i cannot understand why we were placed in that room when the hotel was not full, unless it was due to the reduced rate we paid through late deals. However they haven't done themselves any favours as we won't stay there again and wouldn't recommend the Hotel- especially when there are so many others to choose from.

The rooms are excellent quality - nice touches that you dont usually expect from a small hotel-- complimentary water, biscuits and chocolate in room. Beautifully clean room, good size, nice large flat screen tv. Breakfast continental and self service, a good selection -- however after making my toast and a cuppa turned my back and someone took it! Doors banging into the early hours of the morning and people galloping up and down the stairs meant I didn't get much sleep and was therefore not refreshed and ready to face meetings/courses the following days.
As a lone female traveller the fact that they did not offer room service or have an on site restaurant for an evening meal means I would only stay here again if I had a companion to eat out with.
The location of this hotel was good on what looked like a nice quiet road but the noise of banging doors, people coming in and out constantly through the night, it was horrendous. I was in London for a work conference and stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, I should have left after the first but stayed in the hope that every night couldn't be as bad as the last but it was. There were people falling into the door at 11pm, screaming and shouting at 2:30am followed by the same people stood outside my room having a very load chat oblivious to the time until I asked them to move and then another group coming in at 3am banging and shouting and that was only the first night. The next night was the same again until 3:30am and the third night the noise continued until 4:30. Never again....

I had a single room which was small but very modern, attractive and clean. It included desk, closet, luggage rack, flat screen TV, tea and coffee service, hair dryer and a window that opened. I arrived early and clerk allowed me to check in. Continental breakfast was very good value compared to 3-4 star hotels I've been in London: cereal, yogurt, 2 kinds of juice, coffee machine with espresso/hot chocolate/cappuccino, fresh orange sections, croissants, rolls, packaged cheese, jam, packaged mini-muffins and hard boiled eggs. There was wifi service but was weak and difficult to use -- the clerk easily refunded my Internet payment with no problem. And there are at least 2 Starbucks within 1-2 blocks with T-Mobile hotspots. The only complaint: due to small size of the place, corridor noise is easily heard in the rooms. With earplugs, I slept fine.

Good hotel, friendly service, very clean. Recently opened I think, but they learn quick. My advice: More information at the check in (what about the remote control for TV and Airco, explain how to demand internetaccess, adaptors, safe etc...). Don't ask for every device a bail (It looks like they distrust every guest). Breakfast was really basic for someone who likes a real strong breakfast (I stayed for 7 days and only 1 day eggs were available), it was served in the lobby (just beside the check-in desk (this isn't so pleasant). Window couldn't be locked (I had a grount-flour room, after complaining, I could move to the first floor). I looked at the "conditions of posting" and found them really threatening.

Excellent little hotel for central london and comes highly reccomended for the business traveller or Tourist. I stayed for 2 nights on a business trip and the LCD TVs and modern bathrooms and bed linnen makes this little gem stand out in the crowed for 80 a night, I have stayed in 5* accomodation in london that did not have the friendyness of staff or service. Location is ideal as well with only a 3 minute walk to the end of the street and round the corner to Victoria station.
