Good quiet location. Lovely well appointed room.
Friendly & efficient male member of staff.
However his female colleague let the service down by being unwelcoming and unfriendly & offhand towards her male colleague in front of me and my daughter.

I was disappointed with this accommodation being sold as an apartment on late rooms, the 'apartment' consisted of a double room with ensuite. The kitchenette was a converted wardrobe. I have previously stayed in apartments which were as described by the title. The room it self was ok, quite light and airy. We were also told we had been upgraded, as far as I could see the only bit of 'up' grade was being made to climb several flights of stairs (no lift) to the top of the building. It was reasonably priced though and in a good location.
Summary
My only criticism was that no laundry serviuce was provided
Summary
My wife and I stayed in these appartments for one night (Saturday-Sunday). The location si very good, close to the London metro and with some nice places to eat nearby. London is by "definition" an expensive place to visit, but we found this options to be very good. the staff was very friendly and honest. The shower could have been cleaner, but that was that when I think of "negative" points. Overall, I would recommend this option.

I have stayed at Astons several time and would be happy to stay again
Summary
The room was not much but good value for money. The hotel is on a nice quiet street but still very accessible, a few minutes walk from the Gloucester Road tube station. Close by there is also a very good place for breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. There's no lift so a bit of a climb to the 4th floor. All in all a nice place to stay on a small budget.
Summary
Initally offered a really small pokey dingy room with shabby shower unit and cubby-hole kitchen. Then when I complained I was offered a 'superior' room for a £20 upgrade which was marginally better. If you have to stay here pay more for the upgraded room at the start.
Summary
The electrics in this room were dangerous - convector heater control melted through previous overheating, swith indicators not working - also lighting tripped out so I was without lighting. Tv was crap (just fuzz). none of the appliances have testing lables so do not comply.
The room was clean and it was in good location
I would be pleased to stay there again
Summary
Really well kept place. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.
