Although I paid a discounted rate, I did not get a bargain. The single room was extremely small and hot, and the only plus was a balcony overlooking the street. The bathroom was an all-in-one fitment and this was reflected in the size of the hand-basin, which was the smallest I have ever seen. The closet kitchen was only good for microwaving meals and making cups of tea. The fridge kept me awake; hammering away because of a build-up of ice. As did the main front door which slams shut.
On the plus side the place was kept clean, and so was the bedding. Oh, and lots & lot of very hot water from the taps & shower.

Wow, this room was no apartment it was small and the kitchen was some how fitted into a cupboard with most basic utensals and a microwave (no cooker). But i guess you get what you paid for.
Room was clean, and thats about it.

The room booked for 85 was tiny beyond belief, both myself and Mr Halliday were majorly annoyed, thankfully we could upgrade, but this cost us an extra 35. Will not be returning.

As a no-frills place to put your head down for the night, I would definitely recommend it. The room, although not in perfect condition, was clean and comfortable. It was very small, but for that price, in that location that's only to be expected. The area is nice and you are literally 5 minutes from the Tube.

Anyone who has used Premiere Classe accommodation, particularly in France, will recognise bathroom arrangements. "Kitchen" arrangement would handle nothing more sophisticated than breakfast or a snack. Ideal for someone (without an expense account) on a business trip looking for a comfortable overnight at reasonable prices.

The hotel is in a very nice and well served (the tube) district. The hotel is very clean and staff very kind and helpful. But the room had one of those container-bathroom (a toilet, a shower all in a plastic box, with a very small wash basin) that are not nice at all (one gets claustrophobic there)

What an absolute disgrace. The photos shown are not what you get - the thing in the room they call a bathroom is the same size and same set-up as a porter loo at Glastonbury, the 'kitchen' in tiny cupboards that make you feel clostrophobic whilst you sleep and a TV you need a magnifying glass to see.
I wonder why rooms were all empty..... if your a traveling foreigner maybe it's ok as it does have something vaguely livable but I booked for a sexy valentines weekend and got a shoe box you would expect for 30 quid in bogner regis..
Absolute disgrace.
I stayed in a small single apartment. As I arrived after the 9pm normal check-in time I knew there would be no receptionist but having rung ahead I had made an arrangement to pick up the key and this worked very well - when you ring reception after 9pm the call goes through to the receptionist's mobile and s/he can let you in remotely - this was efficient. The TV and remote worked well, bed was clean and comfortable, room was very quiet. Everything worked fine. Shower room was tiny (the descriptions I had already read on laterooms site were farily accurate so my expectations weren't high!) but the water pressure was superb and there was plenty of hot water. The kitchen in a cupboard is perfectly adequate if you are just away for a couple of nights. Overall this room was great value for money as the hotels in this area generally charge over 100.

We were lucky to get a large double room and it, was quite large, with a good size bathroom, although shower was a bit small. Cooking facilties hidden in cupboard, but were adequate. Overall very clean and tidy.

Good location, fairly clean but a really small single room with a 'kitchenette in a cupboard'. It was on the 5th floor so access quite difficult (there was no lift).

Excellent service from the reception, great room on the ground floor with lovely gardens. Really quiet and great location for tube station and shops. Only one down side as we were 2 girls getting ready we could have done with a full length mirror in the room rather than 2 small ones in the bathroom.-

The so called apartment proved to be an extra small hotel room with a hob and a micro wave. No oven and no dinner table like on their web site pictures.

I booked a room for 3, with kichenette. I was not prepared for the extremely small size of the room. The single bed seem to be custom made to fit the small room - it was narrower than a normal single bed. The kichenette was actually a wardrobe of cooking facilities. The bathroom is a cubicle with a tiny shower space at a corner. Overall, the room was clean, and the service was friendly, but this is not for the claustrophobic. There should be reasonably sized alternatives within the same price region in similar area.

You pays your money you takes your chance...
You pays your money, you takes your chance... This is a very basic 'hotel' (actually a number of apartments in adjacent, connected townhouses), in a nice location near South Kensington. The single room I stayed in, as others have commented, was tiny. The bathroom (a small, prefabricated, plastic cubicle) was the smallest I have ever been in - I stood outside the door and leaned in to get to the sink to brush my teeth.... A minute 'kitchen-in-a-cupboard' and a hanging space too low for me to hang an overcoat in without it touching the floor, completed the package. Luckily, previous comments I had read on Laterooms had managed my expectations down to a low level - they were met. Stay here if you want something cheapish in this area and are willing to accept a basic, small room - otherwise, continue the search....

The photos on this website bear little or no resemblance to the actual match boxes you have to stay in. The rooms are at best small or very tiny if you book a single room. The rooms have not been decorated for a number of years, with drop in all in one plastic bathroom, which is small enough to shower and use the latrine at the same time.

Perfect for an extended stay while on business in London. The apartment had wifi access, which was perfect as I was not office based for my entire trip. Will definitely stay again.

Clean, uncomplicated appartment accomodation with self catering facilites and satellaite TV. Reception staff very friendly and efficient, who provided excellent customer service. Free photocopying and internet access for guests in reception office gives this the edge over other small hotels/ B&B's in this price category. Not for those seeking the more pampered (and more expensive!) surroundings of a luxury hotel, but great for anyone wanting well-located, practical, no frills accomodation in London.
