Excellent value

We only stayed one night but found the Apex Wall to be a hidden gem. It's in the financial district so very quiet area despite being a short walk from the tube. All the styling and furnishings in the bedroom seemed excellent quality and very clean. Staff were attentive and courteous, very little time spent waiting at the reception desk. I would definitely recommend this place and would book again.

Great little hotel with great customer service

We stayed at Apex London Wall Hotel between Xmas and New Year. The location in the City was a deliberate alternative to the more traditional west end, and afforded easy access by tube and waterloo & city line, yet a quiet place to come back to at night.
Customer service, especially reception, was the best ever. Nothing was too much trouble.
Good food at dinner, but breakfast marred by small portion of eggs benedict and soggy toast.

Apex London Wall Hotel

First class all around service. Excellent room well furnished and spotless. All facilities we needed. Location was a bit further away from 'the sights' so transport was expensive (taxis) although public transport was an alternative but inconvenient. Well looked after before, during and after our stay. Items left in the hotel room were returned to us without fuss.

Jewel tucked away in a quiet area

We had a lovely stay at the Apex Wall, we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and my husbands 30th and it served as a lovely base for our stay. Tucked away down a quiet road in the financial district, the hotel has a sumptuous boutique feel. We upgraded to a superior room on arrival and weren't disappointed, everything had been thought of down to a Sunday newspaper of our choice being left outside our room on the Sunday morning. The room was nicely proportioned and very well thought out. We would definitely stay at this hotel again, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the only down point is that it is a little of the beaten track in terms of getting in to covent garden/oxford st etc....but if you can overlook that this hotel is great....there is a new Apex due to open early next year nearer Covent Garden which I think we would look in to staying in next time we visit London.

Overall, it was excellent.

We were overcharged, by mistake, at checkout, and didn't notice until I got home. However, I was very impressed with the speed and efficiency to correct the error, and received a sincere apology.

Great hotel, will stay again.

This was our first stay at an Apex Hotel and if this is the standard quality it won't be our last.
The hotel staff were extremely polite and very attentive and our room was very comfortable and clean.
We ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely plus we had a 25% discount offer which was handy.
We reported that the toilet wasn't flushing properly and it was fixed straight away.

The perfect City experience

From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't have been more helpful. It was my wife's sixtieth birthday and they upgraded us to a beautiful suite - there was even a birthday card.
The whole hotel was warm, clean and beautifully appointed. Whoever chooses the staff and manages the hotel knows exactly what they're doing.
I'd go back in a second.

Experience Excellent Overall

Stayed for one night as we were seeing a concert at the O2, arrived at 2.30, checked into room, excellent, everything from cleanliness, to tea and coffee facilities, bathrobe and slippers included, a real bonus when you have walked round London and up and down tube stations all afternoon.

A fabulous, quiet hotel. Very near to 'Bank' and Liverpool street stations. Room was very large, modern and well-appointed. Great range of free snacks too! The bathroom was magnificent. Brand new with a huge bath and separate shower. Excellent free Elemis toiletries. We loved our stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone. Great value for money.

Weekend visit to London

The reception staff in the hotel were incredibly helpful and efficient. The hotel was close to Liverpool St underground so handy for getting around. Was a quiet area which meant not disturbed by any noise at night but not much night life in the area at weekend.

We stayed for a weekend visiting our daughter at university. For Central London this was perfect. It's close to Spitalfields Market and Brick Lane so the usual complaint about city centre hotels - that they're dead at the weekend - just didn't apply, but at the same time the city is undoubtedly less noisy so you're guaranteed a good night's sleep. The lifts and corridors were a little too dark and small for my liking, but they are well decorated and clean. We'd stay again.

We used the hotel for a weekend break in London. The hotel is very much a chrome and glass sort of place, which you either like or don't. We did, except in the restaurant and bar which (particularly without many people in them) were a bit too clinical. The staff made us very welcome when we arrived, and were courteous, helpful and professional throughout. Our room was well equipped and spotlessly clean. The restaurant seemed a little pricey for what it was, but the bar meals were more reasonable and nicely presented. Overall, a very enjoyable stay, deserving of the high ratings which (at the time we stayed, at least) it had on the Late Rooms website.

Lovely hotel

We had a pleasant stay yet again at the apex although did find it wasnt as good as it was 6 months ago? the rooms are fantastic cant fault them at all, the staff didnt seem to be as friendly and didnt put themselves out as much as last time but they were fine,
you have to be careful of work which was going on while we were there, we understand that work had to be carried out over the weekend but just wish that we had been prewarned as we couldnt get to sleep on the friday night or sleep in on the saturday morning with work going on outside, all in all it was a good stay but not as relaxing as last time.

Apex London Wall

My wife and I recently enjoyed a great weekend 'city break' staying at the London Wall Hotel. The check in staff were polite, informative and attentive to our needs and offered the services of a porter to carry our case to our room. The room was was fantastic with all you would expect from a modern 4 star hotel. The hotel is located in the banking district and was therefore quiet and peaceful at the weekend. We only ate breakfast at the hotel (reduced rate thanks to LateRooms!) but the choice and quality of the food was of a high standard. All the staff were friendly and we would definitely stay there again in the future.

A great stay.

Stayed here for a weekend break and was truly delighted with the hotel.
The location is within a couple of minutes walk of Moorgate and Bank tube stations and about 6 minutes walk of Liverpool Street.
The staff were really friendly and helpful, without being ingratiating.
The breakfast was really good.
The only thing you need to bear in mind is that this part of London is largely closed over the weekend because it services the financial sector. So, many of the bars, shops and coffee shops etc in the immediate vicinity are closed over the weekend. However, a 10 minute tube journey gets you to the theatre and shopping areas and, if you walk you are at St Paul's Cathedral within 15 minutes or so, and Trafalgar Square within 30 minutes.

My taste buds are still buzzing

Out of all of the hotels, I have stayed in, this one is by far the best.
The staff were absolutely fantastic, they were so friendly and I think it is great that so many nationalities work together in one hotel. It give it such an international cosmopolition feel.
As for the food, well I was a wee bit sceptical about dining there in the evening as I have eaten hotel food before and sometimes it lacks but as everything is closed in this area at the weekends then I had little choice, and so I dined at the hotel. What a fantastic meal I had. The wine was brilliant, the waiter recommended the Malbec with the steak, brilliant. The next evening I just ordered two small portions, the fish cake and the cheese platter and had the Merlot with them, they were outstanding.
Absolutely any future business trips to London, this is the place I'll be.

Excellent Stay

I chose this hotel due to the high score it received on laterooms and I wasn't disappointed, my husband and i were staying in London to see a show, it's perfect location from Kings cross, a very short walk from Moorgate tube station, we booked a standard double but the room was very spacious and a wonderful huge King size bed. Bathroom was spotless with separate bath and walk in shower with all the extras you would expect from a 4 star hotel including beauty products from Elemis. Check-in and Check-out was very efficient, unfortunately we did not get a chance to eat at the hotel. We will definitely be booking this hotel again when next in London.
