As the scoring suggests not what we are used to. Customer Service very good though.
Summary
This was a last-minute booking and, for the area, the reduced offer was reasonable for the Easter period ((£142 B&B for a twin room). However, the room was very small & more cramped and uncomfortable than the nearby Premier Inn. We would not have paid the full price for such a room: there was only a wet-room with no bath, the duvets and pillows were thin and flat; once the temperature of the room was down to a reasonable level we had to turn a very noisy air-conditioner off. There was only a high shelf above the towel rail and nowhere for toiletries by the basin, not much space generally and a miniscule desk which would be very difficult to work at. At 10pm one of us rang several times to ask if the hotel stocked feminine toiletries: they did not and I had to walk the streets to find a shop open at 10.30 at night (there was not even a vending machine in the ladies downstairs loo). We didn't use the gym or restaurant in the evening but the breakfast was good and the manager and his staff courteous but it was an uncomfortable stay all round (my daughter had a dance audition the next day and had been hoping for a relaxing stay) in what looked to be a charming building from the outside: there are much better options available in the area, so it was a great disappointment. Check out was fine but the desk was often understaffed.
Summary
Room small but compact, so does the job of a place to sleep. Breakfast was excellent! Definitely use again for a city stop over.
Summary
Paid extra for suite, was given small room. Complained and was given the lower price. Room was small clean and functional. No noise during the night, which was a fantastic bonus.
Make sure you get what you booked.
The staff were very welcoming and the room was very clean, well equipped. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.
Summary
Given the price we paid for the room it was disappointing to be put into a small room at the rear of the hotel, which backed onto a noisy air conditioning duct. The check in paperwork included an area to write which newspapers you'd like, which we did, only to discover the next morning when we called down that they don't do newspapers on the weekend and they didnt read that we'd included it. Great hotel for location, lots of glossy magazines lying about, but quite a small room for the money.
Summary
A functional hotel. Clean room. Polite, efficient and welcoming staff. It was good to have tea and coffee-making facilities in the room (not by any means always the case in this typeof hotel). The only niggle was that the bathroom door in our room appeared to have dropped slightly on its hinges and was scraping the floor when opened and closed, making a lot of noise, especially in the dead of night! But in all other respects a faultless stay.
Summary
I chose this hotel because of the convenience of being close to London Euston. The room was a reasonable size, bathroom was tiny and a little tired. Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast included in price- options for ala-carte included. Only complaint was the quality of room service. I arrived late, and ordered a portion of chips from the room service menu. For £3.20, I received 9 beautifully arranged chips- yes, nine. I counted! Not good for filling the hole in my stomach.
Summary
Well located, clean and modern rooms, good customer customer service. Pillows like bricks and covered windows so no view at all but would use again.
Summary
Very convenient for Euston and connections. Faultless welcome and facilities. Room was a tad on the small side but now I'm being picky
Summary
Very pleased to be able to book a room here at a reasonable price, especially in Olympics year. Staff were all very pleasant and the hotel was exactly what we needed for an overnight stay - close to Euston station and handy for the Bloomsbury area. Concierge offered to stow our bags for the day without having to be asked. Room was a bit small for a longer stay and not for those who must have a bath (wet-room shower only) but certainly not grumbling for the price we paid! I would have preferred all self-service at breakfast with a business meeting to get to but saying that, the service was fairly quick.
Summary
Can't fault the hotel on location, cleanliness, newly renovated and modern decor, but very small room, cracking view of the airconditioning ducts, 1 bureau drawer for storage, no wardrobe really and a bathroom with just a shower and the smallest sink we have ever seen. I would call this bijou, but lilliputian springs to mind really. Having said that we would stay again based on it's location and friendly staff.
Summary
Great location for Euston and kings cross stations as well as tube lines, hotel good and clean but never got to sample bar and restaurant. If you are looking for a central location and a clean hotel this one is for you.
Summary
Clean tidy
Summary
Although very comfortable the rooms are to small with practically no storage space. Fine for a single nights stop over but no more. The wet room design of the small bathroom leaves the whole floor soaking wet. Fine for single occupancy.
Summary
In my opinion the room was over priced and not what I would consider 4 star. I have stayed in cheaper, better, hotels nearby which were also in better locations (closer to Covent Gdn and West End). The room was very small, the bathroom also small. The other 2 hotels I have stayed in both had bigger, better rooms and bathrooms and were furnished / equipped to a much higher standard and were approximately £15 / night cheaper. The other 2 hotels I mention are worthy of 4 star, Ambassadors is not which is why I consider it over priced.
Summary
Room v small, but we knew that from other reviews before we travelled. We only needed a base so it wasn't a problem. Very clean, very warm, breakfast included was good too. Staff to a man all very friendly, polite and accommodating. If you were going to be there for more than a couple of nights the wardrobe space (or lack of) would be an issue. Opaque glass door on the bathroom, not a problem for us but I could see that it would bother some people. Overall, very pleased with our last minute booking. 5 mins walk from Euston Station.
Summary
We stayed for one night as we were going to a party and doing some shopping. This was in a gret location; within sight of Euston station and only 10 minutes walk from Kings Cross. Despite being on the busy Euston Road, no traffic noise could be heard from inside the room - perfect if you want an afternoon nap before going back out again.
We turned up earlier than scheduled but the reception staff were very accommodating, letting us check in early for no charge. We also took advantage of the concierge service to leave our bags there on our departure date, so we didn't have to carry them around the shops before going home - this is something that fewer and fewer London hotels seem to offer now.
The room was nice and clean, not massive but perfect for a 1 or 2-night stay. My only criticism would be that the en suite was a "wet room" with no ventilation - this led to a damp/musky smell after the shower had been used.
The breakfast was very good, better than that of chain hotels. I'd definitely stay here again - I'd say this is as good as you could get in central London for under £100 a night.
Really enjoyed our stay, it was just a few stops from Piccadilly where we saw the excellant Ghost the Musical. Room was small, contempary and clean. The breakfast was good with all the Tea and Coffee you could drink , we would definately stay there again, there is also a very reasonably priced car park within easy walking distance, so Happy days!!
Summary
The room was all I needed to function normally - clean sheets, plenty of hot water and free internet service .. along with the reduced room rate through laterooms.com .. couldn't have been more approriate.
Summary
I found the staff very helpful, my single room comfortable and the served breakfast excellent.
Summary
I want to start out by saying that I would have scored the accommodation as excellent on all counts if it weren't for two small aspects that let it down.
For the price paid the standard of the hotel and the room were excellent. Really contemporary and perfectly located right across from Euston station. I was upgraded to a double room on check in and the room itself was probably one of the nicest I've stayed in. Easy and quick connection to wi-fi and nice touches like free bottled water. The shower was brilliant. The entire room was spotless except for the bed throw which was covered in long black hairs! (not mine)
The check-in staff weren't particularly welcoming and I was dissapointed that the restaurant didn't offer a cooked vegetarian breakfast otherwise I would have ordered breakfast as well. The member of staff at reception when I checked out was very helpful however and even gave me some directions and a map when I asked for them.
So almost a perfect experience but it wouldn't deter me from staying here again.

Storage for clothes very limited
Summary
Only used it as a place to sleep.
Bed was firm and comfortable.
Didn't have breakfast there because when I asked at the restaurant they said it woul be £15, which is over my expenses limit. I only found out afterwards that it would only be £10 because I had stayed in the hotel. A bit annoyed about that.
On arrival back at home, I immediately e-mailed the hotel to praise the staff. The efficiency and cheerfulness shone through from reception to chambermaids and their appearance was immaculate. I really cannot fault this hotel and look forward to returning. We are not a well off family and a London weekend does not happen very often. However we were treated like Royalty and will certainly spend our hard earned savings at the Bloomsbury Thank you and well done.
Summary
Great location, wonderful food but let down by accommodation .Our room was so small but well equipt. Only good if staying for a few days.
Summary
Very basic just what we needed.
Summary
Very hard to find anything this smart for this price in this postcode. Single room really _is_ a single room, but very smart and clean; nice toiletries; hotel was quiet and staff were efficient.
Summary
Rooms a little small and can be a little noisy if you are on the 2nd floor by the AC units on the roof. Otherwise a great hotel with good food, great staff in a good location.
Summary
The hotel has a good location and is clean and well run; the breakfast (included in our deal) was good and was available until a very civilised 11:00am. The room and en-suitebathroom were small but acceptable. Our room was on the front of the hotel and traffic noise was quite loud all night.

Clean room comfortable bed. Extremely noisy (traffic) Not what one would expect from an executive room.
Summary
Everything excellent (food, service, location). The only imperfection: the rooms are small.

As the title says it all.

Good location room was a bit small but ample for one night stay over.
Summary
My wife and I stayed at the Ambassadors for one night last Saturday. The welcome was friendly enough and although we arrived about 3/4 hr before the official check-in time we were permitted to go to our room early- so far so good. We opted for the "Superior" room and were mildly disappointed with its size (about 3 feet either side of the bed) and a bathroom that was also somewhat small. The room was somewhat noisy as well as the air con didn't seem to work at all well, hence the need to open the window as it became stiflingly warm during the night, despite it being December! We commented that if this was the "superior" room we wondered what the standard one would be like!
The breakfast was admittedly reasonably priced as we entertained my step son who came to have the meal with us on Sunday morning and although it was plentiful, it was no more than lukewarm and bordering being cold! To me, there is no excuse for this at such an establishment as this.
I stayed here for one night following a Xmas shopping / theatre trip with my daughter. We were both very happy with the accommodation & would definitely stay there again. The hotel is decorated in a modern, stylish way and the quality of the furnishings & bathroom is good. It was also quiet (unlike several other London hotels we've stayed at) and there was no noise from the corridors or adjoining rooms, even though the hotel was full. We had breakfast included in our room price - a buffet with full English & continental choices. The hotel is situated across the main road from Euston station & 15-20 minutes walk to Oxford Street, so suited our needs perfectly. In summary, it offered amazing value for money.
