I booked this hotel for a nite with my girlfriend as it was our anniversay. I looked online and was attracted by the price and the four poster bed... in reality the hotel was a complete letdown.
When we arrived the man on reception was smoking outside but the whole of the the reception and loby area stank of cigarettes dispite seeing numerous no smoking signs.. the room was about 100degrees centigrade, like an oven and the radiators were covered so it wasnt possible to turn it down... the bathroom was quite dirty, the shower curtain was filthy an the bath cleary had not been cleaned..
the next morning after waking up late we missed breakfast but were charged for two 12 pound breakfasts..
The only positive thing was the bed was very nice and comfortable.. i wish i had spent the money on a nice hotel for our aniversary.
Location is perfect! I was unlucky to get a room in basement. Carpet, furniture, bed etc. were not replaced in the last 30 years. Does not feel and look very clean. I've been to other hotels around. You find definitely more value for money in other hotels nearby

We enjoyed our stay at Abbey court hotel and would recommend to family and friends.Staff were helpful. Room very clean. And a great area, tube station about 3 or 4 mins away. The only fault would be that the room was a bit dated but maybe i'm just being picky!

The rooms are in need of an upgrade. The room i had was in the attic space
Summary
Lovely hotel, brilliant location, friendly and very helpful staff - a very pleasant stay.
Summary
The location was ideal being only a couple of minutes walk to Notting Hill Gate tube and Portobello Rd. The room we staying in was nice and large and the room was clean. Staff were very friendly and i guess you get to know them more than other hotels because it is a boutique hotel and you have to leave your key at reception. At first i wasn't too sure about the leaving the key at reception but was fine with it. The only thing negative i would say about it is that the safe wasn't working and the phone also wasn't working. Not ideal but not a major problem as ended up using their safe and they also let me use the reception phone for local calls. Would recommend this hotel if you were after location but didn't want to spend a fortune but happy with a clean decent place to stay
Summary
Very polite staff, lovely quiet road right next to Notting Hill. Ideal!
Summary
Great little hotel. Standards that you would expect from the big names. Ideal for Central London. Parking would probably be a problem, but we were lucky with it being a Bank Holiday.
Summary
Convenient hotel for transport etc, efficient staff, quiet room in the basement. Pity breakfast isn't included in the room price.
Summary
Positivies : The hotel is clean and has great access to Notting Hill Gate Underground which is very close by. Negatives : I did not see any lift in the hotel so bedrooms on the upper floors might be a challenge for those who are mobility impaired. My bedroom (which was a single room) was very small with a rather small single bed. The heating system could not be adjusted so it was too hot for my liking (probably better than being too cold !!). The shower appliance in my bedroom was leaking so when it was on the water sprayed literally everywhere ! Breakfast was adequate at best (tea, coffee, boiled eggs, cold meats, toast etc.) The breakfast area is very small.
Summary
For the price i was paying i was expecting a little better. for a £12 breakfast and everything to be over cooked while being served by a stroppy waiter it just isn't worth it. the rooms were pokey. i mean the bathroom door did not open fulled and crashed into the side board. the telly was very small and placed so far from the bed that you'd need binoculars to see it. give this one a miss.
Summary
We arrived early before 10.00 off an overnight flight from Cape Town, South Africa. We were given a warm welcome by the manager and were very pleased to learn that our room was available.
We had booked a top rate room with a 4 poster bed and were not disappointed. The room was large, had a very comfortable couch, attractive antique furniture and a window that opened onto a flower box and the street. There was a good size flat screen TV on the wall.
Very nice bathroom with lots of marble, double basin and bath with jets.
We knew that we had booked room only but discovered that breakfast would have been included in the rate had we booked directly with the hotel. We had stayed there before so it was stupid of me not to have booked directly and saved 24 pounds a day. Having said that Late Rooms did everything required to enable us to obtain an excellent room at a busy time.
The hotel is very well placed for Notting Hill Gate tube station. There was a shower of rain as we set out to walk to the station and the manager insisted we take his umbrella. He also got us tickets for a theatre show, "All my sons" for that evening after we had been told it was booked out. Great warm service.
Not a modern hotel but certainly clean and very well located. I wouldnt stay here for leisure but certainly for a business trip it was perfect and excellent value for money.
Summary
A nice Hotel good clean and comfortable and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. A pleasure to stay.

It was all OK, but felt like my grans spare room.
Summary
I have stayed in many hotels in London and this one has to top them all with the personal level of service, rooms with an indvidual touch and peaceful atmosphere. Highly reccommended.
Summary
Customer service was excellent and the room very clean and comfortable.
Our only complaints were that the spa bath didn't work and it was a bit awkward having to hold the shower head as it didn't reach up to the holder to have a shower.
Over all I would thoroughly recommend Abbey Court Notting Hill
Very good location, 3 tube lines at 5o m, Notting Hill Station. Very kind and helpful staff.
Cleanliness high. Prices a bit high
OK Hotel - too hot in room, location very good
